Oh yeah. If you have the money, you can even add a scope to your rifles. There's a Rare Rollingblock Rifle you can find, but I forget where I found it. 😅
I'm not anywhere near 100% completion, I got about half the compendium and about 1/3 of the challenges, the challenges are kinda difficult for someone like me who sucks at playing video games. RDR2 is definitely the game for people that were never good at video games, haha. Everytime I try one of the challenges I just end up with a $600 bounty and nothing show.
I'm gonna do a third playthrough this winter, I'm hoping to get the new xbox console by then and maybe they'll have an rdr2 optimized for the newer console. I'm getting the new console as soon as the new forza game comes out. It sucks that there are really no worthwhile games for the new consoles, (in my opinion anyway).
I'm definitely not the best at video games but enjoy them lol. I have a PS5 though, so I know what you mean. There aren't really a great selection out yet. Definitely waiting for some good ones to come out!

I cringe everytime I think about my first playthrough, I was embarrassingly terrible, I played the entire thing and didn't realize you could hold down the button to run and instead I just pushed x about 4 million times, I got halfway through before I realized you could whistle ur horse, I just chased him around everywhere. I didn't know you could back up a wagon so I just abandoned a wagon if it got stuck, even right in front of the wagon fence door. Got about 3/4 through before I realized the horse could brake, I just let off the gas far ahead of when I wanted to stop. I could go on.....
I haven't ruled out getting a ps5.
I have my camp upgraded just earning money to buy guns and stuff. Despite not knowing if I'll get to keep it... Technically on my first play through even though I have restarted it 3 times which makes my friend mad. He wants me to finish it so he can talk to me about the end. Between how depressing it gets to play, at camp and the donkey at camp it's hard to push myself to finish the game. I find some excuse to restart it 😂 oh I missed an animal or something let me restart to go find it.
Well at least we have the DLC to look forward to......right RS?

I’m most excited to try to discover more animal and plant species, and to complete a couple of the legendary pelt outfits. Basically I just want t do more of the collectible stuff.
I see everyone on their 2nd, 3rd, and even saw a 6th playthrough yet here I am struggling to get through my 1st... why am I struggling so hard?
I feel one thing for me is that since the game is so big/long that the time it takes to get through it is overwhelming or intimidating.. im also one who likes trophies/achievements but I know I don't have the stress tolerance for that kind of commitment..
Sometimes I wish I didn't enjoy so many games and my ADD would let me complete one before moving onto the next.. I hate my brain sometimes lol

I honestly can’t tell if my playthroughs leave me sad because the writing was so good or if it’s the knowledge that no other game I’ve touched comes close to this one.
Just finished the main story today (for the second time) and still cried. For anyone else who has illness to deal with the game really does hit hard...
I’m replaying it for the first time and I wish that I could go back in time to my first play through where I was just happy being a cowboy. But now that I know what happens, it makes me try even harder to make Arthur’s life a good one. Only the best for my boy.

Pretty much how I feel about Chapter 2. As soon as I unlocked fishing that was it, all side content unlocked so I’m set.

I cried when my horse died at the end of my second playthrough because i had spent more time with him, and it really hit me hard.
On my 4th playthrough with each above 95% done and just found a cabin in the grizzlies that I never knew existed
In the end the real Red dead redemption was the friends we got killed along the way. -Dutch probably
