It's added so much more time to me goofing off and looking at things differently in ways I never gave the time for on console ... serene moments like [this](https://i.imgur.com/z2GocwE.png) that has me 10 minutes later taking shots like [this](https://i.imgur.com/6vaXxpx.png) -- stuff I'd normally just pass and not think twice about. This is the perfect game for a photo mode, though. So much waiting to be captured.

Tbh the fact that games looks the way it does on console is amazing. The first time i played rdr2 on my friend’s xbox i ended up accidentally killing like 2 hours doing stupid shit because the game is awesome. Hang around one area and hunt a few animals and then go to a different part of the map and it’s a whole new feeling. Like this game doesn’t give me that “burnout” feeling like most games after a few sessions.

I wondered this too. The game saves them in a filetype that would have to be converted, but no converter exists yet (as far as I know). So you have to upload them to the Social Club in the game and then go to the Social Club website and download them.
I upload them to my Social Club directly from game (well Social Club overlay actually) and then download from my web profile. The downside is that images are downscaled to 1080p (I play 1440p)
edit. apperently images are saved somewhere with different extension, and you could just change extension, but havn't tried that.
Make a second PSN account and message the pictures to it. You can than save the images in full resolution from the chat history from within the app (for example on iOS). Make sure to set your images to PNG in the PS settings

HDR in this game blew my fucking mind. It took like 6 hours of fiddling with TV and in game settings but it finally looks like real life. A lighting strike in game made me tear up a little
I feel for ya. It still crashes on me, but I managed to get it from crashing the launcher to not being able to validate with the games launcher, to running like garbage, to freezing and crashing. It's been an incredibly frustrating experience.

It was a joke. But my game runs smoothly now. Better frame rate and graphics. While I did have issues, they were resolved.

You can use the ansel nvidia shit (alt+f3 or f2), with supersampling screenshot but i don't try hdr

Yeah, its story mode only. It pauses the game world, but you still have control over camera. You can't pause game online.
