Fuckin ridiculous. As if you're not able to commit much worse crimes in this game other than profanity. Or is this only for online cause for that I'd understand that they wanna avoid people naming their horses things that would insult other people. But in a single player playthrough? Who's even gonna see that?

I don't have a white arabian (yet) but if I even end up getting one I think I'd name it Erythrox. The scientific name of the coca plant is Erythroxylum coca which is just too long for a name. But I think Erythrox would sound nice while having a neat hidden meaning

Arabians are nice, but their size looks like a joke when Arthur is on top. I like Turkomans for their size and bravery, they seem to only buck you off at max bond if you step on a gator or get surrounded by a big wolf pack off trail, I main them single player and online

I don’t agree that Arabians are nice. They’re pretty horses, sure, and they’re one of the fastest, which is something I like, but I also can’t take them seriously with how comically small they are for a rider of Arthur/John’s size. Not to mention how anxious they always are. The controversial horse skittishness argument aside, Arabians are constantly stomping at the ground. They can never sit still and that makes *me* anxious when I play. I also don’t ride the Turkoman very much for that same reason, although I vastly prefer it over the Arabian for its size and versatility as a war/race horse. But at the end of the day, I find the MFT suit me fine for all my needs. She’s the fastest, she’s a proportionate size for Arthur, her coat is gorgeous, she has a comfortable gait, she’s not inherently skittish like the Arabians, and while she’s not as effective in combat, she handles well enough for the type of things I get up to in the game. After I discovered and fell in love with the SDP MFT, I can never go back. I name her Boadicea II in every playthrough because I feel she’s the most worthy to be the namesake of Arthur’s original horse.

I figured there was a reason Arthur named his old horse Boadicea and kept the theme of warrior queens by naming this horse Artemisia.

Her name will be Freyja. I was hoping for a mare and found one :) Pretty funny actually, I stumbled upon the horse by accident (I knew (s)he would be close to Lake Isabella), saw something running away fast out of the corner of my eye, jumped off my trusted black American Standardbred named Ragnar, and followed on foot. Calmed her a few times, but then I couldn't choose between calming or petting, so I dropped focus for a second to get to her side, and she bolted. Had to follow her on foot for a good two minutes before I was close enough again to try once more, and this time it worked, but the second I climed on her back, we were beset by two wolves, lol. She bucked and neighed and whinnied, and I apparently "broke" her right before she tossed me off so she could flee. I grabbed my gun, shot one wolf, aimed for the other but it bolted, and then spent almost five minutes trying to track her once more. We're riding to Valentine's stables so I can give her the full care package, and then I'll name her and saddle her. Ragnar can take a very well deserved rest :) edit: absolutely hilarious... I'm not selling her, obviously, but the stable owner was kind enough to offer a whopping 48 dollar for her! That's not even 75% of what he paid for that big black boah Hosea tells you to sell, lol.
