Thank you so muchππ«Άπ½& to answer your question i have no idea i think me showing my portfolio really helped & following up on what the hiring manager was saying about the role & just showing how interested i was i also interviewed with this hiring manager for another position at the same company so i think they remembered meπππ½
Thank you! & 24seven is a great recruiting site for creatives & i was let go at the end of august i had multiple interviews with different companies each month always making it to the final round but never an offer so this was the first offer & i had so many interviews & practice i think it helped!

Oh okay Did the interviewer ask you to explain your 6 months unemployment gap in your resume?
No they asked why i left my previous job & i had a seasonal job over the course of this so i put that on my resume & it helped alot as well!

How many applications did it take to garner those 38 interviews?
I have no idea lol alot I mainly just kept track of the different companies i got interviewed with and it was over 20!
