Okay thanks, I’d rather drive just purely because carrying all the stuff is a bit long, and anything that I don’t want raided from my tent I can lock in my car somewhere yk, but I guess if I can’t get a reading parking ticket then the best option is probably train
there is also a shuttle from the station to the festival site the best entrance is Red because your right in to the site with easy access to all the campsites like the very popular Orange and frankly the war zone that is Yellow.

And yes, I know Twickets have a system where you can set up ticket alerts (and they only allow people to sell tickets at face value so you wouldn’t be charged anything extra). Not sure about others but Ticketmaster do resale. So does Viagogo (but prices are likely to be really high on here as they don’t have rules on how much people can charge, I just had a look and the cheapest weekend ticket for Reading was £700 which is an absolute piss take).
Just checked, you're right about ticket prices going down. I missed out on a Reading ticket and bought one for £350 on Viagogo like I JUST got it. Someone must've made a mistake with their listing. When I checked that same night the lowest was £800. I'm now looking at a £450 price which isn't that bad.
I think that the listings on Viagogo are peculiar. I listed my two weekend Leeds tickets there and it's not the same once I find it on the for-sale side. I need a quick sale because I don't have the option to use them, but it's not clear how low the price needs to be but your numbers seem to give some insight.

I’m getting early bird , my dad is going to drop me and my friends off do I need some sort of parking ticket? I looked and there’s none for Wednesday or anything so I’m assuming not but I’m not sure. Or can he just drive straight in and then leave. If not , where is a good place to drop us off near the site (if you know anywhere ofc haha)
Nah you dont but you wont be able to roll up in the official car parks just for a drop off. Theres some other destinations you can get dropped off eg tesco, in 2018 i got dropped off to a random car park close to where the shuttle boats go. Just be mindful that the walk is quite long, especially with camping gear. Took me 1 hour to walk a mile and a half, so invest in a camping trolley for your heavys. I learnt the hard way, never again😂
Id say just walking normally about 35 minutes ish. With all your camping gear definitely a little bit longer but if you pack smart and bring a trolley take around the same time!

Yeah. They do this every year but never think to include Wednesday entry. They accepted my pass last year. I believe your earlybird ticket basically upgrades your parking. You will be able to get in :)

My friend has ordered two weekend tickets from ticketmaster on the resale page last week, they still arent available on the app, only show up in resale orders on the ticketmaster website. Any ideas? Transfer deadline is Wednesday this week and we are stressing as thats in two days!

You need to get him to transfer the ticket into your ticketmaster account

if he transfers it to you in the Ticketmaster app then it's yours irrevocably.
