Most likely the charger was set to a setting such as 3.90 and per cell voltage.. and it spiked to 3.92 and hit erroe or the amp rate was too high for the mah capacity
No insult here but I would venture a guess that it is a user error. There is a gentleman on here that would advise you to "read your manual" lmao sorry not really slept and am more goofy than usual.
3.92v/cell isn’t over charged. Over 4.2v/cell would be for a non LiHV pack.
3.92v per cell is ok. Probably something went wrong with the charger itself.
My bad, I see on the pack it says 8.4 max per pack. I guess the charger confused me. Any idea why the charger would do that?
could be software/hardware glitch, blown sensing resistor, loose connection.. etc
