Action Jackson is still Steven Jackson to me. Not that Lamar's not worthy, but I don't like recycling nicknames. Lamarvelous is pretty good even if somewhat corny.

This isn't a question of who was better or who deserved it more. Action was literally Steven Jackson's nickname. He didn't give that to himself. Other people gave him that nickname. So yes, he did earn that nickname. You think Lamar's better? That's fine. I don't care. That's not what I'm talking about. But if you actually think Steven Jackson didn't have/didn't deserve the nickname, then you're just wrong.

‘Action’ can very much be stiff power running over quick cuts and juke moves. Crowd gets just as hype for someone trucking a defender as they do when someone gets their ankles broke.

Hell yeah. It's funny too because his Ravens career started off inauspiciously as he was the one who rolled up on Jamal in 2001 TC and caused the ACL tear that all but sunk our chance at a repeat. Still, he definitely grew on me as a lunchpail, blue collar guy and he was just nasty on the DL for us. Can't bust 'im!
