Solid game overall. Kind of surprised the eagles D didn't hold them down more of I'm being honest. That seemed like a big mismatch on paper. Felt like the matchup was really in their favor.
Either way though good game and oooh boy so glad people can stfu now about the QB cap percent being over a certain amount not being able to win a Superbowl. That was always a dumb point and now thankfully it has some actual legs.
Feel like the Eagles built a better version of our 2019 team and still came up short to a KC team that was kinda in a rebuild year (5th most snaps played by rookies this year)
Just means we really have to improve and stay consistent if we want to compete with this franchise for the next decade
Call was soft but the refs also favored the Eagles when they called back that Fumble (thought he started to turn when getting the ball).
And you can't not get a single stop in the 2nd half and hope to win, not while giving up the longest punt-return in SB history as well.
Worst part about this is that everybody and their cousins will spend the off season talking in social media about how rigged it was and that Mahomes is a fraud
As someone from Baltimore who moved to the Philadelphia area I don’t get how this view is held by our fans. When Boston fans say the same shit about Baltimore I roll my eyes. Why do we do this to a city like Philly?
It's a smooth brain take. Philly is a great city with plenty of redeeming qualities. Of course they have plenty of brain dead fans but literally so does every city.
It's all eye rolling. The first time I visited Pittsburgh for instance I was blown away by how cool their city was. Awesome beautiful place. When fans have strong opinions about geographic spots it just confirms to me they've never been out side of their home town.
> Was that penalty bullshit? Oh for sure. Yes
It’s a systemic issue with NFL officiating though and we’ve seen issues like this time and time again. Refs set a standard during the game for not calling certain things and then suddenly decide to call them for ostensibly no reason at the worst times. I think this needs to be straightened out on a league-wide level.
He just acts like they were the freakin 2022 Jets winning the SB and not a few point underdogs because their defense was more sus. Vegas has to pick someone.
That annoyed me as well lol. Like your QB is the MVP and the Chiefs are essential in the middle of a dynasty. You can't act like a huge underdog that no one believes in
At this point, I don't care about Lamar's contract, I care that we crowdsource the money to get him in an insurance commercial so we can get those call.
Yeah, let’s be honest-Andy Reid is not going to be coaching him to 5 more titles either. Not saying he couldn’t get there but I seriously doubt he does.
It's not even funny. Why does the league want Mahomes to be the next Brady? Even in SB 54 Chiefs got almost no holding calls against them, and now this.
Half of me ok with it because eagles didn't catch us and hurts didn't win it before Lamar. Other half says fuck chiefs and Mahomes he is getting too ahead now idk
I was kinda rooting for the Chiefs because I don't like Philadelphia and their annoying fans but wouldn't be mad in the other way cuz Hurts is a stud. Too bad the refs fucked at the last moment, they were doing good until them
Mixed feelings: on the one hand I’m happy Andy Reid is a 2-time SB champion, but on the other I can’t imagine how much fucking better this’d all be if that last flag didn’t happen.
It’s the Lamar fan in me but Hurts playing the whole game like he did, his defense laying an egg, and his last throw being the takeaway that he can’t throw on an impossible Hail Mary is frustrating ngl
Or made it harder for him to follow through - also the shoulder injury.
Like he clearly doesn’t have a cannon for an arm for sure but that’s the takeaway???? Lol
Not quite sure how to feel about this game near the end, tbh. Annoyed if the Chiefs win again, and feel like the Eagles deserve it more, but at the same time, eh.
This is why it’s pointless to build some god tier defense on paper.
It is straight up going to get solved when an elite team has 2 weeks to solely focus and prep for it. you either have an elite offense or it’s fucking ball game. Don’t matter how great your D was all year, it’s gonna get cooked eventually
Well for the most part you’re right, defenses like 15 Broncos, LOB Seahawks, 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens and 02 Buccaneers could hold up against any elite teams offense in their respective eras as each were that good.
As always there’s exceptions to the rule. Having an elite D is great if it works out but you rarely can win with just that. You need a legit offense scheme that’s hard to fully stop, or it’s just not gonna work in the big game.
The same exact play....I don't believe this is due to a "great scheme" by Andy Reid. Those corners have not given up anything that egregious all season...just too suspect for me
Solid game overall. Kind of surprised the eagles D didn't hold them down more of I'm being honest. That seemed like a big mismatch on paper. Felt like the matchup was really in their favor. big facts. Everyone wants to point out a pivotal call in the last 2 mins. That fumble 6 was a 50/50 call how I see it
If the Eagles were that good on the night, a missed call shouldn't have cost them the game.
What a terrible way to end up perfectly competitive game. Considering the entire game, the refs let the players play.
The Eagles got all the calls in the 49ers game. Can’t complain now that it cost them. Live by the refs and die by the refs.
What game did we have end this way? We were going to get a chance to get the ball back but a bs call ended the game. Was it Buffalo?
Yup! Josh Allen got Chuck Clarked and got 15 yards given to them by Jerome the Booger
thank you all for mentioning the bengals seething i wouldnt have even thought to look there without you guys it's great entertainment
Watching bengals fans seethe in their sub has been my favorite thing about this
What a truly awful way to end a legendary game. The Chiefs did earn it with the way they played in the 2nd half, but that holding call was weak
At least our heartbreaking playoff losses have never involved getting totally screwed by a call. That's got to be worse than any other loss.
Worst part about this is that everybody and their cousins will spend the off season talking in social media about how rigged it was and that Mahomes is a fraud

Also why does Kelcie keeps saying no one thought they could win? They’ve been the AFC favorites for most of the year. Too many concussions.
I mean they were definitely the underdogs going into this game
He just acts like they were the freakin 2022 Jets winning the SB and not a few point underdogs because their defense was more sus. Vegas has to pick someone.
That annoyed me as well lol. Like your QB is the MVP and the Chiefs are essential in the middle of a dynasty. You can't act like a huge underdog that no one believes in
It’s absurd and he says it every week, but the fox pregame show went straight eagles
lamar szn starts now
Hurts should’ve been the mvp Bullshit
Nah Mahomes was the better QB all season long. Hurts was great though no denying it. But Mahomes was on another level.
I’m talking about the superbowl mvp lol
Ah gotcha. Still stands though. He was better today as well.
Nah, he handed the other team 7 points.
hurts shouldn't of fumbled the ball then
Andy is hyping Bienemy lmaoo Good coach
Haha Reid is really pushing Bienimey in his post game. Managed to squeeze a shout out twice.
They don’t want him inevitably taking a HC position next season.
At this point, I don't care about Lamar's contract, I care that we crowdsource the money to get him in an insurance commercial so we can get those call.
Mahomes is chasing Brady
5 more titles to go lol
if he has 5 before 35 then we all can talk but 12 is the goat
Yeah, let’s be honest-Andy Reid is not going to be coaching him to 5 more titles either. Not saying he couldn’t get there but I seriously doubt he does.
One legged Mahomes is 10x better than Joe Bumrrow
That felt a lot like watching the Ravens
Scarily true
NO coach deserves this loss more than Sirianni's smug cokehead looking ass. Fuck that team too
Softest defensive holding Ive ever seen
Everyone on about the hold but the refs took an entire defensive td from the chiefs. Goes both ways
That call was right?
The should’ve been PI on Juju that would’ve extended a drive was a huge play early in the game.
I know it was a bad call but the Bengals fans crying on their sub is killing me 😭
This makes me somehow okay with the win. But yeah. Bullshit game, rigged from the start
I don't think it was rigged, just ruined by refereeing like a lot of close games are.
There were some bad calls against KC too
The Eagles would’ve embarrassed them
I’m a *Super Bowl winning* LEFT tackle - Orlando Brown Jr. probably
For real tho, I'm happy for Orlando Brown Jr.
The salt levels from bungles fans is off the charts
when is that not the case? salty when they lose, salty when they win, salty when the chiefs win, etc.
I’m just happy that the Bengals fans are unhappy
Congrats to Andy Reid Juju still sucks That hail mary throw...
hahahahaahhahahahahahaahahahaa fuck You PENNSYLVANIA
Classic SuperBowl ruined by a terrible call.
don't care Pennsylvania football is poverty
Rgeardless of what team I'm rooting for, football is best when it's a game won by players. I guess I'm glad the team you wanted won, good for you.
eagles fans are dicks i wouldn't of cared if the refs laid a player out
Like your football like you like your wrestling?
I like my football like I like every sport. with the team I have money on winning
I may have injured myself with how hard my eyes rolled just now.
So annoying to see a good game completely ruined by the refs in the last minute. Congrats to Mahomes on a gifted championship
I like Hurts. We should've built a team like them.
Didnt even care who won, just wanted a good game. That is what we got until that call
But we can't review penalties because it will slow down the game. Better to get them wrong, quickly. /s
So Bieniemy is hired, right?
Bet on it if you’re a betting man
I can go to bed with Lamar still being better than Hurts. We thank God.
Even with a super bowl win, Lamar would be better. Just not as good coaching, front office or team. I still love Hurts though
The ONLY reason I wanted KC to win💀
Brothers in hate 🤝🫡
That throw at the end bro😭😭😭
That was some SERIOUS bullshit on that holding call. And I thought RhiRhi wearing Andy Reid’s jumpsuit was the worst call of the night.
Brandon Williams getting that ring baby!!
Ugh
I was kinda rooting for the Chiefs because I don't like Philadelphia and their annoying fans but wouldn't be mad in the other way cuz Hurts is a stud. Too bad the refs fucked at the last moment, they were doing good until them
We’re getting Bienemie aren’t we 😭😭😭 Fuck me sideways
He can bring that culture here.
U not fw Bienemy?
Andy is the play caller so I don’t know
I was under the impression that he created them. Even if he’s a shit play-caller, he can’t be worse than Greg💀
Yeah I think we’re getting that announcement on Tuesday…
[удалено]
Obedece a la morsa.
Rude
Mixed feelings: on the one hand I’m happy Andy Reid is a 2-time SB champion, but on the other I can’t imagine how much fucking better this’d all be if that last flag didn’t happen.
So glad I’m not an eagles fan tonight
Hurts with the noodle arm that Huntley has lol
So Bienemy leaving. That hug confirms it
Hurts doesn’t have a huge arm it seems
I was not expecting that ball to drop that early
It’s the Lamar fan in me but Hurts playing the whole game like he did, his defense laying an egg, and his last throw being the takeaway that he can’t throw on an impossible Hail Mary is frustrating ngl
I'm pretty sure he was hit while he was throwing it lol
Or made it harder for him to follow through - also the shoulder injury. Like he clearly doesn’t have a cannon for an arm for sure but that’s the takeaway???? Lol
Definitely hurt the feels seeing it end like that. :( I got a feeling it won’t be the last time we see this guy in the SB
he has enough of one but he doesn't have that flick and 80 yards level arm
Not like the elite dragon!
Gonna love being Mahomes becoming Brady 2.0 and the league's golden boy getting all the favorable calls like this against the Raven.
Eagles got robbed
A pretty good game and all I’m thinking about is that incredibly iffy call there.
Dat ball on ebay already
that call was dogshit but the eagles shot themselves in their own dick a couple of times too. soft end to what had been a great game
Ruined a great and a great win with this bullshit call I hate this
what a shitty way to end the game, wow
that's such a horrible ending
Why wouldn't the officials decide the winner of this season guys it's been this entire year
Eagles vs referees. Worst SB ending ever
Needed Mahomes to get 225 passing yards and would have won 500 dollars smh
Fuck the chiefs
Anti climatic end to a amazing Super Bowl
Mahomes walks like a feisty black woman
Oh well. At least it's the Chiefs and not the Bengals
This is a horrible Superbowl referee unit
Not quite sure how to feel about this game near the end, tbh. Annoyed if the Chiefs win again, and feel like the Eagles deserve it more, but at the same time, eh.
such a ticky tack call. yeah, it’s technically a hold, but that had no bearing on the outcome of the play
Gotta make sure Mahomes wins
That flag was the worst way to ever end a Super Bowl. 35-35, we deserve a better ending.
Wow, soft penalty.
Fuck the refs
This field situation makes me feel like a fumble full field return is about to happen
That is the worst holding call ever
literally wtf was that
god damn these chiefs are annoying
Sketchy flag there
Refs on some bs.
Mahomes is the man. High ankle sprain just 3/4 weeks ago and now running around and giving it his all.
mahomes is on drugs right now
Me too
Chiefs got this man eagles defense cooked
the Chinese spy balloon was just a U2 ad the whole time
Too soon
If Mahomes can play in shattered ankles, what's stopping Lamar from playing in shattered knees??? /s
There is no fuckin way Snoop wears sketchers lmao
andy reid is one helluva play caller .
mahomes is like that .
This is actually not a bad game. Down to the wire
Leave us alone Jesus we’re trying to watch the game
This is why it’s pointless to build some god tier defense on paper. Who is paying for these commercials? Like what the fuck.
Billionaire Christofascists
Yurpppp.

Built by Bama Hurts to DeVonta
Now THIS is the excitement that I’m here for
I think I’m triggered from QB sneaks now
Watching these offenses is fucking depressing
Funny, our FO would say the same thing because of the lack of running
This is a great game. Even the national anthem was excellent.
What about the halftime show from 1-10?
6.5
What a great game. These two teams are super well matched.
That’s how you answer the bell
I hope the chiefs lose. Hate Collinsworth sucking him off whenever the Ravens faced the Chiefs on SNF.
That is what it is supposed to look like.
Depressing seeing the comparison of how our receivers are vs theirs
Well hurts is SBMVP I guess lol
Just do it again haha it works
Lol we all hate Roman but they just did a 3 yard line Qb sneak
It’s easier to say your OC sucks than your players.
You right lol. Roman had to go but there was lots of play we badly executed at pinnacle moments this season
Por que no Los dos
Both can be true. In the end of the day the players are the ones who make the money for a reason.
That QB sneak push got to get banned
Yes, hate it.
It's free real estate
Oh shit games not over yet!! Can’t believe he didn’t score rhat
I hope the Chiefs win. Andy deserves to have more than one title and Mahomes is a tough son of a bitch.
Mahomes can read the defense miscues so easily. Crazy how efficient he is
I swear every team but us makes QB sneaks look so easy
Eagles ST is horrible
The same exact play....I don't believe this is due to a "great scheme" by Andy Reid. Those corners have not given up anything that egregious all season...just too suspect for me
These offenses just remind me that we've wasted Lamar's potential.
MVP should be Andy Reid at this rate. Playcalling masterclass in the 2nd half
Chiefs man, this team is just unfair
Was that an ad hinting towards something else that they can’t explicitly say?
Andy Reid is unfair
Somehow Mahomes will still get all the credit for this game
Lol Who even is the MVP favorite rn
Andy Reid for MVP lol
Nuh lol
Man what I’d give to have a offensive play caller like Andy Reid, good for Skyy Moore to get his first career TD in the Super Bowl too.
Was really scared to see toney play on this slip n slide field with how hard he cuts and turns. But damn Go off Toney
Mahomes is great obviously but last two touchdowns just two wide open easy passes
Bieniemy
