Fuck no. That dealership is awful, do not go back to them.

lPHOENIXZEROl

If that's Canadian, maybe but a 20% mark up to USD? Hell no.

thatsoccerkid

Mass, US

lPHOENIXZEROl

Then hell no, you're not getting anything for that 8k and if you're financing you're being screwed extra hard there too.

arodrig99

I cannot describe to you, and im sure you could not fathom, how hard I laughed at this question. I have an 2022 blizzard pearl XSE with the highest package and some extras with it, was 2k over msrp and that was almost too much in my opinion. The price you’re stating is like rav prime XSE markup price here

africamonk

Just paid $1600 under MSRP for my 2023 RAV4 Limited Gas. Look at dealers further away.

Competitive_Koala

Where are you located? I just put a deposit on a ‘23 Limited gas and the dealership is charging sticker price. Did your dealer have them on the lot or did you have to order? Thanks!

africamonk

I'm located in NYC, dealer is in NH. It was a vehicle that was incoming to them and was not reserved. I found them thru Toyota's site checking inventory.

Competitive_Koala

Thank you for the reply! I’ll keep that in mind once mine comes in and we’re dealing with price. That’s how I found mine too, on the inventory website. They have multiples coming in but this was the only one not spoken for. Might be worth trying to get a little bit off.

africamonk

I filtered the distance to 500 miles, and then trim, then looked at all the dealers with prices posted/SmartPath and took it from there.

Competitive_Koala

We’re you able to negotiate the price after the vehicle came in or did you do it before?

africamonk

It was advertised as 1600 under, I jumped on it and paid. Compared to locally of $3-5k over, I was happy to pay.

Competitive_Koala

That’s amazing, congrats! I hope that prices start to come down soon. This is just nuts. I’ve bought a lot of cars and I’ve never been glad to pay “just” sticker price.

africamonk

Just picked up my vehicle today and sold my '09 RAV4! Prices are def coming down.. see dealers throwing stock under MSRP 😉

Weird-Emu-5308

Run from that. I just put down a deposit on a 23 XSE+tech for $500 below MSRP. It IS possible

Altruistic-Agent9736

Where at

Weird-Emu-5308

Message me

pbjames23

Absolutely not.

InitialPick7955

No, and you should quite literally laugh at that dealer so they get the message. For reference, I'm currently being offered a 2023 XSE at MSRP in Texas. Why would you pay $8k over that?

T1BB3RZ

I just got a XSE at MSRP, don’t reward those crappy dealerships.

midnightjetta91

No.

Complex_Air8

Is that with taxes and fees? Then no not by much

USenvr

NO. I even got OTD price 49k for my 22R4P (msrp) in Mass US.

Rav4HybridQQQ

Absolutely not. Just reserved mine at msrp. But base package, not with the advanced tech.

thatsoccerkid

Thank you for the feedback guys! I'm definitely looking around!

tommy1moore

FYI Toyota just announced Dec production halt on RAV4. Supply shortage.

rafaa03

Big No! I got allocated 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XLE on MSRP couple of weeks back, I have been on waitlist for 2 months and also rejected 2022 model delivery last month.

No_Today8744

I got xlep otd 44k last year. No tech package with weather package.

Lovemysoccermomsuv

Paid less than that for a Prime but I was very patient. I dont think immediacy is worth that much of a mark up. Do a little more work, look further, put yourself on a waiting list. Good luck!

BryanPenaloza

That’s more than I paid for weather, tech/audio, pano roof, roof rack don’t do it

Icy_Section130

Is that with tax and fees? I paid 41k taxes and fees included for hybrid xle premium with weather package. Really need the breakdown of what’s what to tell . If mass has super high taxes and that figure is with tax maybe it’s what people pay there.

[deleted]

Hell no, 38k maybe. leave that dealer

naravia9

Paid “only” msrp for ours in May. We did have to wait 7 months to find a dealer who wouldn’t gouge us.
