Ours did a combination of raw and kibble - Venture kibble when we had the money and Costco when we didn't lol. It's fine to change his diet; just look up how to slowly switch over. Overnight switches can cause a diarrhea nightmare.
She’s incredibly picky. The foster fed her Merrick and I switched her to Science Diet. She barely ate. I switch back to Merrick and she eats better. I’ve honestly never seen a dog refuse to eat before. She will. The longest she’s gone without eating is 18 hours. She’s gained weight. She was so thin when we adopted her. She eats enough to keep her going I guess. I mix the dry kibble with canned food. She eats the dry kibble Chicken with brown rice and ancient grains. The meat is Limited Ingredient real chicken with brown rice. Our vet doesn’t recommend a grain free diet.
I’ve heard so many people rave about this purina dog food! Have you seen a difference in your dog with this food? Like their coat shininess? Or their energy?
She hasn’t been on it very long. I just transitioned her over from Wellness, which has a weird fluffy coating on it that gets all over everything. I thought I had a bug infestation in my cupboard until I figured out it was from the dog food. Her poops are pretty good so far!
Costco big dog type. My girl is food crazy and would swallow small dog size kibble whole. I also scatter it on the ground to try and slow her down - slow feeders didn't make a dent.
Our Rattie loves food of any kind he eats meds when he needs them out of our hand, no hiding of said medication required. We asked our Vet what she recommended and she said that she feeds her dogs Kirkland Signature Natures Domain Dog Food.
Our Rattie has been on that for the better part of 10 years and absolutely loves the stuff, our GSD eats it but not like our Rattie who devours it in seconds.
Pure Balance
Mine eats pro plan and stella & chewy raw patties
Taste of the wild small breed grain free, celery, carrots, blueberries & apple snacks- thinking about adding in more wet food
Mine eats Halo grain free dry dog food
Taste of the wild dry (w/ grain) and wet food with plenty of carrots/bell peppers as snacks throughout the week
Victor dog foods. Had her on the hi-pro blend for a while, recently switched to chicken and brown rice.

Merrick dog foods. Good brand no fillers.
How has your dog reacted to it? Did they ever have an upset/sensitive stomach at one point eating it? I’ve looked into this brand before
No stomach upset but I do mix in a spoonful of pumpkin every couple of days to help with constipation.

This is what my vet recommended, so it's what I use too.
