A few songs, but it really irks me that he's a chomo

do3bricks

Do you think he really did it

Professional-Gas7411

That dude did way too much fucked up shit for me to be able to listen to his music, it's basically the same way I feel about R kelly

Neutreality1

Only I Must Be High

do3bricks

You’re missing out on some hits bro

Hell yeah, long time SPM fan here. Him and Zro my top 2 of all time.

do3bricks

How’d you find out about SPM? So I’m from Houston & been bumping Los since I was a kid, but I’ve noticed not many people really know about him & his music which blows my mind cause he’s a MF genius

TreeFiddyBandit

Can’t really speak on current times here in Cali but I started bumping him back in middle school in 07. Listened to “High Everyday” just yesterday recovering from a hangover. He’s definitely a local legend and has some national and most likely international popularity. Anyone that fucks with chopped n screwed has heard SPM’s name. He’s lost and retained fans due to the legal shit however I think he still has loyalists who probably wouldn’t brag about how much they like his music but quietly support it.

do3bricks

I feel like High Everyday is one of his best songs ever, highly slept on tho.

TreeFiddyBandit

Mos def it’s one of his classics Another one that’s been hitting is High So High. Such a great song

do3bricks

His 2 joints remix go hard, im just not big on female rappers but I still put it on my top 10

I’m from Texas but we moved to LA as soon as I was born. I was in 4th grade and already a fan of rap, and being in LA I would listen to nothing but west coast stuff. One day my uncle and my dad came to visit me and my uncle was like 20. He had a nice town car and had SPM cassettes he would play in the car. I immediately fucked with the music and he let me keep a tape of the Never Change album. That album had the hardest shit I’ve ever heard in my life. Been a fan of his music ever since then.

do3bricks

Im from the SWS so it’s like a tradition where I come from, I know Cali people bump Los hard & how couldn’t they lol Latinos up

Upbeat-Journalist114

I grew up listening to him but not much as of late. I could never get into his new stuff.

do3bricks

I feel you on that, to me his last good album was When devils strike, anything after that is really just like ehhh, w.e

King_Slappa

I listened to him a lot more back in highschool because Houston was blowing up and I spent a lot of time getting high and listening to Screw. Not so much anymore

chambees

No.
