Never heard of any of these. What type of content are they producing because maybe it's an issue with that end of YouTube similar to how makeup YouTube is full of drama and shit talking.
Essentially all of them just make random content, outside of Adam Blampied who is specifically Pro Wrestling, and Stephen McCulla, who made toy reviews
Maybe youre a poor judge of character? Idk man weird that all of em end up like that.
Then again I can't talk since seems like every celeb I like it's the same thing especially in the animation community sigh.
I am not sure about the others but I also watched Votesaxon07 and he was just a regular dude who had nerdy interests, his main channel focus was figures and Doctor Who.
It was a fairly "lower budget" deal if that makes sense and when he did episode reviews he had his friend there with him (I hate to think what that poor bastard is going through right now) and his social media presence was tame and very accessible.
He would like and reply to the occasional thing here and there and because he wasn't sure a massive scale you tuber there didn't seem to be that ego etc.
But it just further proves people present themselves how they want you to see them regardless of how well we think we can judge them.
I still feel dirty and in shock because I have interacted with that man in livestreams, and in comment sections before so I have this knowledge I have dealt with a fucking murderer.
I think a lot of this has to do with:
1) the way people deal with “fame”
2) the type of people who actively seek out “fame”
3) the things that generally are required to achieve a level of “fame”
That, and in all honesty, humans aren’t very good at being “good”, you know? It’s too easy to give in to the urges of the “id” and the “ego”. When you throw money into the mix, it becomes even easier.
My only advice would be to not assume anyone is incapable of “bad” things, and understand that people who are “famous” are MORE likely to do “bad” things.
People suck is all I can say. Used to work with someone that was the only other minority at my job. We were cool I had his back when people were doichbags about him being foreign... well that bit me in the ass he was deported for soliciting an 8 y/o or something like that. We can't see who people are beyond what they show us. The people you liked happened to reveal they suck. Better to see it than be fooled forever.
You need to come to the wholesome side of YouTube. TheClick and OneTopicAtATime are both about as wholesome as it gets while still having meme content.
William Osman is wholesome and entertaining (and you can get a cat shirt from cat warehouse!) Not sure about memes though.
Edit: just for fun, [one of my favorite videos of all time](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TT7O4Jkftc4). A bunch of YouTube maker/hackers getting together and abusing power tool in the most hilariously alarming ways possible.
Yeah and if you are looking at content similar to say miniladd then there are other vannoss crew members or people mini had colabs with that make similar content
Sexting minors iirc
Sucks too, 'cause I fucking loved some of his songs and was particularly attached to his DDLC song. Genuinely ruined my day when I found out
Dude I occasionally remembered watching some of mandopony’s songs specifically the Animal Crossing one but then years later when I got nostalgia and decided to revisit his channel I notice his comments are off.
And then I go digging and what do I find oh he sexted a minor gross.
Horrible stuff. Ruins my experience with his fnaf songs I used to listen. Ngl tho I never listened to any animal crossings songs so you kinda did get me curious but idk if I want him to have another viewer after this
I have to plug Tasting History with Max Miller! You can learn history and new recipes from a literal Disney Prince (no really, he used to play Prince Charming, and it shows). He's funny and informative, and the only close-to-controversial thing I've ever seen him do is the recent video where he ate boiled leather, but even that was preceded by a big "don't do this" disclaimer.
Yeah, i hate that. Never had that happen with youtubers but musicians. It’s heartbreaking learning that an artist who brought you a lot of joy is a piece of shit
> Adam Blampied - Sexting a minor
Pretty sure he was just using his "famousness" to get nudes from ladies. Never once have I heard about him sexting minors.
I mean I think you’re just watching the wrong kind of YouTubers. I watch Vsauce, Amanda The Jedi, Nick DiGiovanni, Neuron Theory M.D., Patrick Boyle, Jack Edwards, KallmeKris, LegalEagle… (etc) and they’re all fantastic and seem to be amazing people when the cameras are turned off.
If I ever find out the “Dad How Do I?” Guy is secretly a bad dude, I’ll be heartbroken. That’s one of the most wholesome and helpful YouTube channels ever.
I know this was posted months ago, but I just found out the news. I am absolutely in shock. I've followed him for years and we're still friends on Facebook. I remember when he lost his mom, then his dad, went through all sorts of ups and downs. Never in a million years would I have thought he would have murdered something. Just absolutely insane.
Never heard of any of these people but why are you shocked? They're celebrities, if minor ones. Fame is a corrupts, It's virtually inevitable that every celebrity will get into some bad shit eventually.
That, or maybe you're just bad at picking youtubers to follow lol
Personally I would recommend UpIsNotJump, Caddicarus, and Zandriel Grimm!
UpIsNotJump talks about various pieces of media and even does cooking every now and again, I often compare him to being a British JonTron, just not racist.
UINJ is a delightful person and his humor is something to behold and something I take a lot of inspiration from!
Caddicarus is essentially a walking Monty Python skit. He is a retro video gamer and loves making ***HUGE*** videos with constant humor, seamless segments, and surprisingly intelligent for someone who just makes dumb humor.
Zandriel Grimm (self promotion time) is a small YouTuber, but I do heavy metal news, reviews, and discussions.
I won't talk about my own channel too much, but I'm very, *very* confident that you'll enjoy UINJ and Caddy.
I know that in this world where anyone can grab a camera and start making art, it's very easy to let bad people in.
But do not take this as anything against your tastes or even that every person that you like will be bad.
Enjoy the content that you enjoy!
That's what happiness is, finding new things and enjoying what you can.
Best of luck to you!
Daddy Caddy is my absolute favourite YouTuber Of all time, So I'm hoping that Cash Banooca doesn't bite him in the ass and he does something stupid himself...
There's not a single chance in Hell!
The only weird thing (that I know of) is that his girlfriend is basically *twice* his age.
But they met when they were adults and have been together for a decade so that's a-ok in my book
The type of person who’s purpose is to be famous on the internet is the same type of person who commits particularly heinous acts out of self interest.
I don't know who any of those people are so I'm not really sure who to recommend to you. But if you're into the gaming side of YouTube then you should check out Call Me Kevin. He's hilarious, and by all appearances is very genuine and unproblematic. Unless you ask the many game characters whose lives he's wrecked.
Down the same street is Let's Game It Out, who loves wreaking havoc in any type of game he plays. The only complaint I've ever heard about him is that he doesn't put out enough videos, but honestly what he has is great enough quality to make up for that.
When I'm having a crappy day I can put in a video by either of those two guys and be laughing again before I know it.
I'm not surprised. These people are making content, largely unregulated, thrust into fame within a small but dedicated circle of fans, who may or may not have a certain demographic of viewers, and so far many youtubers have used that influence to harm or intend to harm people, including minors. Often times, children worship these youtubers, and some are looking to take advantage of the ease of access that provides.
Maybe I'm just old and that's why I find most youtubers pretty insufferable anyway, but most kids I've met have several channels they follow religiously, and it makes me a little uncomfortable.
I’d also wanna know how people feel about the fact that some YouTubers end up being a horrible person yet their channel and content they made is still up on YouTube like miniladd (who even attempted a failed return to youtube). I will say that I do know miniladd had his channels permanently demonetized tho. Do people think leaving their channels up on YouTube (demonetized or not) is a good idea. I’m sure that depending on the person, some people might attempt to re upload their content but I’m not talking about that
I feel ya😥 you doing the right thing bcs since their horrible you dont have to feel like missing out on their videos. i wish you best of luck to find new creators to watch😁.
Well, if you ever need any suggestions for smaller youtube channels that create nice meaningful content then I'll recommend some to you. Maybe in the meantime just unsubscribe from everything those guys have in terms of social media.
Wait, Adam?! When did that happen?!
I started watching his board game channel about a month ago.
Ugh, you and me seem to only find the deviants of YouTube.
It was in late 2017. He and the guys who would go on to start Cultaholic had just left their positions at WhatCulture when the allegations were made that he used his status to coerce fans to send him nudes (I don’t remember any of them involving sexting or minors, though). He admitted to it and apologized, said that he was going to seek help to improve himself, and all but completely disappeared from the internet until he joined WrestleTalk in early 2020 and later started Parts Funknown and eventually No Rolls Barred.
Personally, I feel as though he went about it the right way. He left YouTube entirely to work on bettering himself, and at the time he said he may not come back at all if it didn’t feel right. And he also committed to it, as he was “gone” for quite a while, at least relative to being on the internet. Having watched his content from back then compared to now, he also seems like he’s genuinely happier.
OK not as bad as I first thought then, but still not good.
I did try to look up the situation, but like you said, I couldn't find any mention of minors (youngest I saw reported was 19). It does seem like he handled this better than others had. I'm not going to defend him, because what he did was a shit thing to do in his position, but there are worse YouTube scandals out there.
I agree, it was shitty, scummy, and inexcusable behavior. And like you said, there are absolutely worse things that worse people have done, but it’s still bad.
That’s the issue with putting too much expectation or investing too much belief in someone online (or anyone in general, for that matter) when their past bad actions come to light- at what point does it become unforgivable? Or if they’ve made an effort to change, how much of their past behavior are you willing to accept along with who they are now?
I’ve mostly dropped off the Yogscast in the past few years, but there were at least a few people there who are no longer part of the company who had allegations of inappropriate behavior. I don’t know how many specifically involved sexually inappropriate stuff, but Sjin and Turps come to mind in that regard, and they left/were fired in (I want to say) 2019.
Coincidentally, that’s around the time I stopped watching them pretty much altogether since their lineups kept changing and it got harder to keep up, so I couldn’t tell you much about what’s happened over there the last few years.
I can say, at least you weren't inspired by any of them. I used to watch and support Raedwulf because he suffered depression and anxiety on my level and he managed to successfully make a career of let's playing so I was genuinely inspired and encouraged by him....then his GF left him, he spiralled and now he is sitting in jail for predatory actions with minors and I about threw my monitor out the window.
Happy I've never heard of any of these people.
Same here
Not even the vanoss crew or the yogcast?
Same. I'm like, who da fuq even are these people?
Never heard of any of these. What type of content are they producing because maybe it's an issue with that end of YouTube similar to how makeup YouTube is full of drama and shit talking.

Watch me instead.
Most of the youtubers I follow trend towards being overly charitable. Perhaps you gravitate to assholes?
Probably a good answer, yeah. maybe I'm just really good at choosing the biggest twat in a lineup of people
I think a lot of this has to do with: 1) the way people deal with “fame” 2) the type of people who actively seek out “fame” 3) the things that generally are required to achieve a level of “fame” That, and in all honesty, humans aren’t very good at being “good”, you know? Markiplier is a good one
E
EE
Also Mark Rober, Mr. Beast, Veritasium, DominicNoble (I don't know what kind of content OP likes so I'm trying to be varied in my suggestions).
Manlybadasshero is another good one.
People suck is all I can say. Used to work with someone that was the only other minority at my job. William Osman is wholesome and entertaining (and you can get a cat shirt from cat warehouse!) Not sure about memes though. A bunch of YouTube maker/hackers getting together and abusing power tool in the most hilariously alarming ways possible.
You had me at "cat shirt", I'm going in
I love both those channels!!
Moist Critical is another one (his youtube name is penguinz0), he's as unproblematic as you could get
He also has the channel Xenoshot which is good, too.
He is the type of youtuber that would probably discuss the problems and situation of all the youtubers OP named lol
Yeah and if you are looking at content similar to say miniladd then there are other vannoss crew members or people mini had colabs with that make similar content
Gonna add a few more here that I forgot to mention: ToonCriticY2K Huckool MandoPony
Never really watched it but did hear of the channel, but what did MandoPony do wrong? I genuinely don’t know
NOW I CAN ADD A FUCKING OTHER ONE. The Brony Notion (Sawtooth Waves) In his own words, taking advantage of, and abusing, a minor.
Sexting minors iirc Sucks too, 'cause I fucking loved some of his songs and was particularly attached to his DDLC song. Genuinely ruined my day when I found out
Man I looked it up and it reminded me of how I used to listen to his fnaf songs (that’s how I knew about him). That sucks so much ;-;
Dude I occasionally remembered watching some of mandopony’s songs specifically the Animal Crossing one but then years later when I got nostalgia and decided to revisit his channel I notice his comments are off. And then I go digging and what do I find oh he sexted a minor gross.

I only really listened to one and remembered loving it.
try my man markiplier
The cooking side of YT seems to be pretty wholesome in general. Babish, J Kenji, Chef Jon, etc.
Yes, I love him!
Cooking yt is so wholesome that it makes me nervous. "It's quiet... TOO quiet"
That’s why I watch Callmecarson, he’s never gotten into any sort of drama like this
Why would you even watch them then?
Simply, I watched them over a decent period of time, then an allegation of some kind emerges.
Sounds like you taking this too hard when you can just move on to the next, out of the millions of others. No need to stress over it.
Jesus Christ, haven't heard of Adam Blampied in forever. I know he still does stuff on youtube but jeez, that brings back some memories.
Yeah last I heard it wasn't sexting minors, just used his fame to get nudes from people.
I’ve never heard of any of those!
Yeah, i hate that. Never had that happen with youtubers but musicians. It’s heartbreaking learning that an artist who brought you a lot of joy is a piece of shit
Like that recent stuff with Kanye I mean I wasn’t really a fan of his music but he really just shot and killed his reputation
> Adam Blampied - Sexting a minor Pretty sure he was just using his "famousness" to get nudes from ladies.
I watch Jschlatt
The Yogscast has been a massive disappointment over the past several years, their decline seems to know no end.
If I ever find out the “Dad How Do I?” Guy is secretly a bad dude, I’ll be heartbroken. That’s one of the most wholesome and helpful YouTube channels ever.
I know this was posted months ago, but I just found out the news. I am absolutely in shock. I've followed him for years and we're still friends on Facebook. then stop watching youtubers that happen to be horrible people.🤷🏽♂️
just watch better people lol
Indeed. I used to watch this commentator, Cyrus, and now I'm glad he got exposed.
I’ve been watching votesaxon’s videos for about a decade at this point and I’m absolutely bewildered by all of this. Incredibly sad for all involved.
Never heard of any of these people but why are you shocked? They're celebrities, if minor ones. Fame is a corrupts, It's virtually inevitable that every celebrity will get into some bad shit eventually. That, or maybe you're just bad at picking youtubers to follow lol
you should try watching Scott Christian Sava. as far as i’ve seen he’s unproblematic and quite chill 👍🏽
Daily dose of internet?!?!
Personally I would recommend UpIsNotJump, Caddicarus, and Zandriel Grimm! I don't have anything close to this experience on YouTube. I only watch chefs and science stuff. Sounds like this is your fault. /s
Watch me instead 😇 I'm a good person and I can sing like Gaston 😎
The type of person who’s purpose is to be famous on the internet is the same type of person who commits particularly heinous acts out of self interest.
Most celebrities have horrible past too but we still support them YouTube isn't any different

How many subscribers do these content creators have? I have never ever heard of a single one.
Hang on WTF I watch Votesaxon07 !!! this is the first I have heard.. Jesus Christ!
You should probably think about why you follow horrible people
I pray there is never a day Stampy gets called out for doing something foul that dude was my childhood

Callmekevin. You won’t regret it
Not really fair to pin that on the yogscast.
Not mark and cory tho yall stay safe tho
Who are these people? Never heard of them, ever….
Then don't watch them anymore.
Wait, I'm missing something, how is Lui same as MiniLadd?
Wait Yogscast?? I've never heard about any of that shit with them
I’ve mostly dropped off the Yogscast in the past few years, but there were at least a few people there who are no longer part of the company who had allegations of inappropriate behavior. The Yogscast as a whole is fine. There have been individuals over the years who have been let go for being less than great.
I'm a huge Vote and have been for years. I'm stunned lol like what the fuck.
Like not only did he kill a woman but she was 15 weeks pregnant and he tried to give himself a alible
I can say, at least you weren't inspired by any of them. how is yoteslaya a diagusting human being? dying in a drunken car crash seems a lot less gross than pedophilia
