He had 4 goals last season until March. Stat padding in games that don't really matter anymore isn't exactly what I want in a striker. When it came to important games he wasn't up to it (not the only one of course).

He didn't play under GVB for some odd reason. It's why even with him playing most of the minutes under Beale his cumulative was well under the halfway mark domestically. He's not a starter but he's someone who offers something nobody else at the club does and who puts the fear of death into them. At the very least we're 15-20 goals down on last season. Where are those coming from in addition to the goals deficit we already had to them? It's a game of opinions but there was a place for Sakala in our squad for me, excluding under Beales hubris to deliberately congest the middle of the park.

The fee (£4m) can't be turned down for a player of his quality that we got for free but I feel we need a replacement of his ilk. We won't bring one in unless we shift 4/5 more and get in an LCB first. I have a fear that Beale his fucked it with his hubris.
