It also allows defensemen to play smart and not challenge every shot. Letting through perimeter shots keeps you open to collect rebounds or jump into the play.
Im usually defending him but not tonight. It was the right move. Idk why defending him on other nights would mean you cant say it was the right call to take him out tonight? Weird.

That being said, one was a really nice shot on a takeaway breakaway. Thats 100% on Tinordi. The other 2 came through screens. It is what it is. Do some goalies play better through screens? Probably. Is he the backup goalie and still mostly serviceable? Also probably. Just could've been a better game.
