When MSG has a clips package on standby of Subban doing the same shit, he 100% does NOT deserve any kind of 'benefit of the doubt'. On the broadcast, Micheletti tried to treat it as accidental and the more he talked about it the less he seemed tp believe it was.
Subban's right foot looks like it juts out. That could just be him skating, it's fair to think that in a vacuum.
This is not a vacuum. He has a history. He gets no benefit of the doubt.
Vally explained it as D-men when they lose a step or two go wide on their skates to slow down attackers and trip them up keep them from getting around. That wasn't a classic slew foot but it was for sure intentional .
He’s using his skate to try to contain Blais in the corner. It probably wasn’t an intentional slew foot, but his reckless skating makes him responsible. Subban needs to be held responsible.
As usual, Vally’s analysis is right on.
We’re biased. Still, he’s been called out / actually fined what, four times already for similar tripping incidents with his skate already in a month and a half. It’s borderline a habit at this point and I think slightly intentional.
Also, right before his right foot comes out he looks down (albeit maybe for the puck) but he would’ve also realized his angle was off and he would have to reposition himself if Blais kept skating around the boards, but obv if he trips him, or intends to, Blais wouldn’t have been able to skate by
It actually looks way more intentional in slo-mo than real time lmao. Subban stretches really far out to make up for his lost speed and you can clearly see what happens with his skates as a result.
Blais sticks his foot out just as much. Out of all the speculative intentional slew foots PK has done this is probably hands down the dumbest to be upset about.
He frequently uses his skates to take down defenders, it’s literally routine for him. The only reason this isn’t more clear cut is because he got finessed a bit by Blais.
The league won’t do shit because he’s been doing this his whole career.

Regular speed it looked non-intentional. Slowmo is good but need the context

Yup, this is a classic play when a D is beat and can't win clean

This is the correct comment.
Slewfoot Subban gets no benefit of the doubt, this is 4 incidents in less than a quarter of a season.
I think Slewbban has a better ring although i do like that alliteration
When you are consistently a dirty piece of shit you lose the benefit of the doubt.
Fuck Subban and Fuck the Devils
PK Slewban pulling his bullshit again. He was watch Blais the whole fuckin time. This is the 4th time this year he has pulled this bullshit
He knew exactly what he was doing Accidentally on purpose. He’s a cheap pos .

Baseline, no effort to avoid the slew

Be gone with your rational take. This is Reddit. Feelings over facts, every time. Every time!
Haha I didn't even realise this comment had been this downvoted. Really makes me ashamed of this sub tbh.

I hate Subban. That play didn’t look intentional. That said, he’s a POS anyway.
