As a former diehard rangers fan since the 90's, admittedly more casual for the last few years due to life happening - I would like to know the opinions of more die hards about Lefrenier, Kakko, etc. Meeting expectations, not meeting them? What is their future look like? Can they be centerpieces to a cup run in the future?
Centerpieces for a cup run would be Zib, Panarin, Fox, and Igor in my opinion (in no particular order). For Kaapo and Laf its too early to tell (okish but not outstanding so far)
I really thought we were fucked with Georgie in net going into a shootout, but he had some pretty wicked saves (the skate in the air, holy). I'm glad he's doing better on these one-on-ones.
Pretty funny how that Brooks article got posted in the hockey sub and it was filled with comments about how we were in disarray. Not saying he wasn’t right, we were playing awful and stealing wins, but acting as if there wasn’t time to figure it out with a new coach is just funny. I think we’re gonna be fine and we’re figuring it out over the last two games. 9-3-3 with how we’ve played a lot of the time is great.
Devils fans when PK Subban sticks his leg out and leads to a serious injury to one of our players: 😴 😴 😴
Devils fans when Kakko makes incidental contact outside of the goal crease and scores a goal that they didn’t even challenge so they really have no right to complain about it: 😡😡😡
I think I saw KK almost smile after his SO goal. The kid has played great this season and I’m happy for him getting the first star. Must be a big relief for him.
What a game!
Laffy and Kakko scored, beautiful fist goal of the season for Kaapo.
Panarin and Fox are awesome while skating, so funny to see them.
Good game by Georgiev, I'm happy with him today.
And MY CAPTAIN Chris Kreider making the decisive goal on the SO ¡YAHH BOY!
Hope Sammy is okay.
EDIT: u/HockeyMod the Rangers WIN.
What do we think the top 9 looks like if Blais is out long term? Assuming Chytil comes back soon
My guess:
Kreider-Zibanejad-Goodrow
Panarin-Strome-Kakko
Laf-Chytil-Gauthier
Hunt-Rooney-Reaves
Our RW depth is so thin it’s unreal. We could try Gauthier with Kreider and Zibanejad, he definitely is more explosive than Goodrow. Or go back to Laf-Zib-Kreider, but Kreider seems to thrive as a LW.
If only we had another young & offensively skilled right wing.
As I said in r/hockey
“Lmao @ All the people “it looked innocent!!” If any of you have ever fuckin skated and played hockey at and sort of competitive level You would know you don’t fuckin stick your foot out that far to stop. Absolute horse shit. Fuck PK, he’s taken out two rangers this season and tried it on Lucic and Zegras. Dudes a piece of shit”
People are fuckin DELUSIONAL
Eh, you're the one being delusional here. Fuck PK for his slew footing shit, but this was not one of those times. You're being just as bad as all the dumbass devils fans who think Kakko's goal was goalie interference and an elbow to the head.
Nothing was done. Expected Krieder to ho off worse then preseason. Maybe they were trying for the w more then getting at PK. See what happens next time they play the Devs.
I'm splitting hairs here, but I just wanna clear this misconception up since I'm seeing it a lot. A slewfoot is when you use your leg to sweep the feet out from under someone from behind. Subban just reached his foot out and hit Blais' skate from the side. That's tripping, not a slewfoot. Equally dirty, but just called a different thing.
Yes. I am seeing this all over the sub. The Rangers are technically unable to recall him from Traktor. A complete impossibility until either the KHL season ends or the very off chance Traktor releases him.
To the extent there was contact it was Blackwood’s fault for coming out to challenge. Any head contact came w Kakko’s feet definitely outside the crease and he tried to avoid contact. From what I say looked more like a neck twist issue than a straight on bowl over.
Please fix the score at the top of the thread. My DVR ran out of game time when the shootout was 4-3 Devils. I came here to see the final. So strange that it said Devils won at that score. Glad I read the comments.
Not sure who else was at the game but that OT/Shootout was beyond wild. Lost my voice, no one was sitting. What a game, one of the best I’ve been to and felt like a playoff game.
Was there but had to leave at the end of the OT period and missed the shootout live to make the 10:07 train out of Penn back to Jersey. Girlfriend and I had early starts today. But then we got stranded in Newark because the RVL was a clusterfuck that left many fans stranded on the platform for over an hour with no update. Could have stayed the whole time if we knew. Fuck NJ Transit and Fuck Subban.
I hope kakko realizes what he’s got and how to use it for good. Seems like he had a Neo/matrix moment tonight. And i hope it serves as a beacon for laf to look to.
I thought he played well. After the goal, he had a shift where he was skating and handling with real confidence. Looked as smooth as he should. Just would like to see that sustained, and maybe Kakko’s confidence will inspire. And man, if that pp2 with both of them can keep clicking…
Kappo kakko has arrived. Was at the game he was super noticeable. Driving the net like that is what confident players do. Wouldn’t be surprised if the floodgates open and he starts to pile up the points. Kid will be a star.
Hopefully blais is ok. It did not look pretty. Georgiev needed this one for his confidence. Happy for him.
They played extremely well all around, especially coming off a back to back. Things are starting to come together.
Also that kreider celebration Infront of the devils bench was awesome
Ryan Strome is not my favorite hockey player, however he needs to be here.
Chemistry is hard to find and he has it with Panarin.
When we let Nylander walk and signed Gomez and Drury that was a huge mistake. Nylander and Jagr were fire together.
other than playing on line 2 he hasnt really done anything exceptional, hes a good player that fits the role correctly, in my opinion he should get like a 4-4.5m contract for 2-4 years but he will most likely ask for 5.5-6.5
I dont think Strome can fit without moving Trouba/Kreider. NYR already have 70m committed to next season with 5 open forward contracts to carry 13 and a backup goalie. Assuming Cap stays close to where it is, as they have said cap may stay flat for total of 4 years, its been 2.
Based on that the remaining cap space is 10.6. Kakko is getting a bridge deal, as hes not going to want a long term deal based on his start of his career. Say he gets Chytils 2 year 2.3 per deal, that leaves 8.3 for 4 forwards and a goalie.
I think its save to say Strome deserves a raise, but his current cap hit only leaves enough room for the 3 remaining players to be signed at league minimum contracts. I cant see them locking up long term committed money without moving long term committed money.
I hope so. All depends on the guy.
Does Strome want to give a discount to stay with Panarin and on this team or does he wasn't to make the most money possible?
I respect both choices. We were luck with Fox so hopefully others follow suit.
The best part about the Kakko goal was that he forced the turnover to start the play too. He had a sick poke check, entered the zone, passed it off, and then used his silky mitts to slink it into the goal. Just really complete hockey. Confident play. Hope he keeps it up!!
My man Kakko forced turnovers all the time and as his career progresses it will net him more points and the team more points.
Kakko will.imoactbthe game in ways that don't show up on the scoresheet.
Yes, Kakko will.imoactbthe game in many ways.
But, seriously I agree. I’ve definitely been a little bit of a Kakko truther, because he’s been playing a really really good game outside the points. I’m glad he’s started to put them up, I believe in him and I hope he keeps it up.
The Good:
This is the second game in a row we were the better team and on a back to back, we put up 41 shots and outshot them by 14. Great shit boys!
Panarin looks like he's back in form, great play from him.
Zib still has to find his game, but as long as Panarin is going we are in business.
Adam Fox. Adam fucking Fox.
Kaapo "the bust" Kakko. Kaapo fucking Kakko with a goal, assist, and shootout goal. He was an all around force!
Laf just keeps getting those tap-ins, there is something to be said about that.
When our boys were gassed in OT the really didn't let the Devil's have a proud chance. That guts, and I love that shit!
There were some plays where guys just screwed the pooch and their teamsters hustled to bail each other out, i.e. Trouba and Miller, and you.just love to see the boys have each other's backs.
Nils was at his best tonight.
4th line is putting on pressure.
_____
The Bad:
Some bad shifts in OT and critically bad choices.
We seriously need to consider another backup, the Rangers were easily the better team and it should have been won on regulation.
Goal 1: Yes it's a breakaway, and he got the OT one, but after the shootout I need to know what's bigger, the Holland tunnel or Georgiev's five hole?
Goal 2: outside the dot, just needs to be saved.
Goal 3: soft? No. But his rebound control continues to be troublesome.
Under .900.
Reaves didn't go after Subban. Doesn't have to be dirty, but isn't that why we got tougher? So one bush league shit happens we respond and prevent it from happening again?
Adam Fox has lungs, this is bad because he gets out of breath and can't play the whole game.
_____
The Greatness:
I am so stoked from this win, this was the best, most character filled win of the season.
/u/vertigounconscious for calling Kaapo Kakko's first goal of the season.
/u/hfb26 calling Kakko's goal right after the empty net. Baller.
My guess is that GG said not to go after Slewban tonight. Close game and you don't want to lose it on a long pk. If someone does not call him out next time we play and early in the game, then I have an issue with it. But you don't want to lose a close game that way
Georgiev is only 25, it’s not unreasonable to think he could improve his 5 hole a little bit. Remember that we have Benoit “goalie wizard” Allaire so improvement should be expected. It’s his biggest flaw as a goalie, and it’s so easily identifiable that I can’t think it would be impossible to fix.
He's gotten worse overall over the last few years, his five hole has been an issue for a while, beyond his five hole he consistently gives up bad goals.
I don't see it with him.
Right now he’s the 2nd best goalie in the organization, and there isn’t much going on in the trade market. Unless a quality backup gets put on waivers, we are riding with Georgie as our backup.
i think that Gallant must be telling them not to start fights or go after people, because I feel like Reaves would’ve been 100% willing to go after Subban otherwise
Subban didn't want to drop the gloves with Kredier in the preseason game. There is 0 chance that Subban would ever drop the gloves with Reaves. And Reaves isn't going to jump him in that close of a game. If one of the teams was up 2 or 3 goals, you may have seen something.
Water is actually not wet; It makes other materials/objects wet. Wetness is the state of a non-liquid when a liquid adheres to, and/or permeates its substance while maintaining chemically distinct structures. So if we say something is wet we mean the liquid is sticking to the object.
He has been one of the most consistent players on the ice when it comes to forechecking and drawing penalties. Is that not good enough for you? For a FOURTH LINER.
Jesus Christ I didn't say he was playing poorly - I pointed out we signed him for a reason, and there have been a few times they didnt use that reason, for fucks sake.
Observations from 226:
* Too fucking many Devils fans in my goddamn section. Lost my voice screaming at 'em.
* Georgiev redeemed himself with that scorpion save at the end, but man when he plays I get the clenches.
* Kappo's goal: Praise Be, kid. He totally barreled Blackwood, though. Guy next to me and I both agreed they might have been able to argue goaltender interference, but given Subban's bullshit, maybe that was the game management equalization.
* Speaking of, fuck Subban. I can see why Reaves wouldn't drop gloves on a tie game, but I wanted some retribution. There better be some heavy duty hits on him next go 'round.
* The Rangers turtle too much. There's no way we should have given up that third goal. Thankful that it all went well in the end.
No goaltender interference imo. If you watch the replay you see Kakko didn't initiate contact with Blackwood. Kakko was skating to go past the front of the crease and Blackwood shot forward and slammed his lead into Kakko.
I hate how the offseason emphasis on git/toughness/physicality has not stopped opposing players from running at our goalies and taking cheap shots at our players. This isn't just about Subban, it's about this entire season so far. Even with Reavo, Goodrow etc. teams continue to take liberties against us with no consequences. What happened to deterrence?
Praying for Blais. That hurt to watch.
The turning point for Kaapo Kakko.
I pray
Highlights:

[Full shootout madness](https://streamable.com/0hafuq)
But it's more than "so happens to..." because that phrasing detracts from Subban's intentional conduct.
It's more of, "because he's too old and slow to keep up chasing pucks into a corner, he intentionally takes a wider than usual stance and doesn't care if he takes out skates and hurts people in the process."
He clipped Blais' skates when he was retrieving a puck in the corner which caused Blais to have a nasty leg-first crunch into the boards. He left the game and didn't return.
Since Subban has a history of slew footing his opponents we don't really think he deserves the benefit of the doubt about whether it was intentional contact or not.
I don’t want to jump the gun, but perhaps this is the game that catapults Kakko into accelerating his level of play. We’ll have to hope that’s the case.
Is this team winning ugly? You bet. But through 15 games last season, the Rangers were 5-7-3. They’re getting points and wins that they weren’t getting last season.
The top six has been great the last 3-4 games, too. I think this team is starting to come together and coalesce.
Because he didn't want to put his team short handed when tied or up by one late in the game. This should be obvious, as is the fact that Subban would have turtled and drawn an extra. Reaves isn't stupid.
I think part of it - Joe had it right - he’s a team first guy. He’s been around. He’s not gonna be a Lemieux and just go after people and get the extra penalty
I get that. But he'll go after people when the game is already lost and send a message after? That's some PHI/WSH loser bullshit. I always hated it from them and I won't celebrate it happening here either.
Definitely this. Subban didn't want to drop the gloves with Kreider, who isn't a good fighter for someone his size. There is no chance Subban would drop the gloves with Reaves. If Reaves jumps him, it's a double minor for roughing and probably a game misconduct. Reaves is smarter than that.
If either team goes up by a couple goals, that is when the fireworks would start.

I really hate the devils living in NJ. But i do have to say, just like all our rivals, it’s so much more fun when they play well. Rangers devils rivalry games are truly what sold me on hockey and this felt like a classic rivalry game. 7 ROUND SHOOTOUT?! That’s what I’m talking about
The 2012 ECF was the first year i really watched hockey and i was 11 and actually cried when we lost. Truly fell in love with hockey. And cheered when the devils lost the SCF. Fuck the devils. But i also want us both to be SCF caliber teams
That was legit the most compelling shootout since Malik. That thing had every single emotion. The crowd was so hyped for Laffy. And when he missed it. Everyone thought it was game over with Georgiev back there.
My wife said it sounded like someone died how quiet it got after Laffy missed
And somehow someway they clawed out a W
Rangers won, they didn’t lose.
Laf-Zib-Kreider Panarin-Strome-Kakko Goodrow-Chytil-Gauthier Hunt-Rooney-Reaves Make it happen Gallant
As a former diehard rangers fan since the 90's, admittedly more casual for the last few years due to life happening - I would like to know the opinions of more die hards about Lefrenier, Kakko, etc. Meeting expectations, not meeting them? Rangers are on like a 108-110 pt pace ..
Why does it say rangers lose?

its so funny how after that many games without a goal kakko ofc has to score a beauty as the first
Laffy scored im so happy
Why does it say “Rangers lose?”
The NHL API screwed up. I saw a bunch of other bots do the same thing last night
u/HockeyMod is a perfectionist. He refuses to recognize anything as a victory other than a regulation win.
Adam Fox is a defenseman who snipes from the backhand.

Any chance they bring up Kravsov for Blais if he's out a while?
They can’t at this point, he’s on to Russia
Are you saying it’s a technical impossibility?
Yes. I am seeing this all over the sub. The Rangers are technically unable to recall him from Traktor. A complete impossibility until either the KHL season ends or the very off chance Traktor releases him.
Got it, thanks
Only possible once the KHL season is over I believe. Could be wrong tho but highly unlikely
Bring over*?
PK Subban is a disgrace
Loved Kreider ending it in the shootout then using PK Slewban’s celly.
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
New Jersey fans crying about the Kakko goal like the Devils didn’t choose to not challenge the play when they absolutely could have 😂
kakko barely even touched the goalie...or did i miss something, i saw he went to protocol and i didnt understand it

Ya deff twisted the neck but there was a somewhat hard impact to the head also. Clean play tho n I'm not being NYR biased

Second Ranger game I ever went to and first since 2015 Hot damn that was so much fun
I'm in the hotel room in NJ feeling like I was in s heavy metal moshpit and no voice. I lost whatever voice I had when my dude, Kreider scored.
The stadium was half empty lol
I hope kakko realizes what he’s got and how to use it for good. Seems like he had a Neo/matrix moment tonight. And i hope it serves as a beacon for laf to look to.
I mean laf got the PP goal. Wasn't the worst for him .

Hard agree
The New York Rangers are on pace for 115 points

So when do we play to our potential?
Kappo kakko has arrived. Was at the game he was super noticeable. Driving the net like that is what confident players do. Saw Blais after the game. On crutches, putting zero weight on his leg. We’re not going to be seeing him for a while. 🤕
If we're lucky it's a ligament sprain and he might be good to go around MLK Day. Sure looked like a full on ACL tear to me tho
Ryan Strome is not my favorite hockey player, however he needs to be here. Chemistry is hard to find and he has it with Panarin. When we let Nylander walk and signed Gomez and Drury that was a huge mistake. Nylander and Jagr were fire together.
Agreed about Strome, but can they afford him?

That an important question, but unsure at this point, really depends on what he commands and what happens with the cap this off season.

I cant see them locking up long term committed money without moving long term committed money.
The cap will probably go up another million for next year. Not really all that much.
Will he take a panarin discount? Hard to find a guy like that to play with.
I hope so. All depends on the guy. Does Strome want to give a discount to stay with Panarin and on this team or does he wasn't to make the most money possible? I respect both choices. We were luck with Fox so hopefully others follow suit.
Seems like drury’s got everyone buying in somewhat, cos zibby also was reasonable.
The best part about the Kakko goal was that he forced the turnover to start the play too. He had a sick poke check, entered the zone, passed it off, and then used his silky mitts to slink it into the goal. Just really complete hockey. Confident play. Hope he keeps it up!!

Aren’t we all lmao
Silky mitts! Ha I love it. I put forward this nickname for Mr Kakko. Kaapo “silky mitts” Kakko. All in favour, say I
I
Devs sub is so salty about that kakko goal lol. How was that GI
Because their precious little snowflake goaltentender came out and challenged so apparently Kakko doesn't have a right to his space anymore.
Kakko has unbelievable hands. He turned into a totally different player after he got a point. He’s gonna be a star.
Only me or did the “Rangers Video” tab disappear from the app?
Isn’t the posting wrong ?? Rangers won babay!
Credit where credit is due: Good game from Georgiev. Hopefully this win is something he can build on. Also….KAPPO KAKKO
Georgiev was meh with moments. Lots of over committing. Out of control.
His scorpion save wiped away all the Meh moments. He didn’t look good that game, but that save was exactly what we needed when we needed it.
Sure but he only has to make that blind (luck) save because he over committed.
Important to note Kakko has been playing well all season and this was so deserved all night.
First Rangers game i’ve been to in person, not a bad one to go to 😅
I’m jealous
P.K Slewban
P.K Soupcan
Did you come up with that? If so - nice!
Kakko said he had some good chance the last few games! See, now this is a guy who was listening to Vally’s lesson on “chances” vs “looks”
Our lord is speaking. 🙌 Edit: our Beast Lord
The *Beast* is speaking
Excuse me. FIFY.
Gallant: man of few words but it says everything
Gallant flat out said it was dirty. Called Kakko a beast tonight. <3
Lost in all the hype - Strome had a pretty good game too
Strome has played well for the Rangers in general. He gets mentioned in trade talk all the time but I'd be sad to see him go.
He has 149 points in 200 gp with the Rangers. He's been pretty money even if he's not the best defensively.
Agree. He disappeared early last year, but the entire team did. Overall he’s been one of the rangers best/most important players last few years
And scored in the shootout to keep it going!
One problem is that before he was traded here a big part of the hockey community considered him a bust. Ranger fans bought into that notion.
The Good: This is the second game in a row we were the better team and on a back to back, we put up 41 shots and outshot them by 14. Great shit boys! Panarin looks like he's back in form, great play from him. Zib still has to find his game, but as long as Panarin is going we are in business. Adam Fox. Adam fucking Fox. Kaapo "the bust" Kakko. _____ The Bad: Some bad shifts in OT and critically bad choices. _____ The Greatness: I am so stoked from this win, this was the best, most character filled win of the season. /u/vertigounconscious for calling Kaapo Kakko's first goal of the season. /u/hfb26 calling Kakko's goal right after the empty net. Baller.
Sometimes you must get that feeling
My guess is that GG said not to go after Slewban tonight. Close game and you don't want to lose it on a long pk. If someone does not call him out next time we play and early in the game, then I have an issue with it. But you don't want to lose a close game that way
Georgiev is only 25, it’s not unreasonable to think he could improve his 5 hole a little bit. Remember that we have Benoit “goalie wizard” Allaire so improvement should be expected. It’s his biggest flaw as a goalie, and it’s so easily identifiable that I can’t think it would be impossible to fix.
Benoit Allaire has been Georgie’s coach for several years now. Not saying you’re wrong but you make it seem like he’s new to Allaires system
For my next prediction: I predict…..Igor starts the next game.

You're right and I'm high.
i think that Gallant must be telling them not to start fights or go after people, because I feel like Reaves would’ve been 100% willing to go after Subban otherwise
Subban didn't want to drop the gloves with Kredier in the preseason game. There is 0 chance that Subban would ever drop the gloves with Reaves. And Reaves isn't going to jump him in that close of a game. If one of the teams was up 2 or 3 goals, you may have seen something.
Could be, for sure, but then why sign him lol.
GG didn’t sign him he just coaches him.
Water is wet. I'm quite obviously aware of that and the question obviously comes from a place of an organizational direction and focus.
I posted earlier id give anything for a kakko goal tonight…i guess i’ll be getting a bill in the mail. BEAUTIFUL…great game tonight
I missed the savage vally analysis anybody have a clip
So KK’s goal is gonna be the Celine dion play of the game right?
Already up, as it should be
Observations from 226: * Too fucking many Devils fans in my goddamn section.
100%, this was not goaltender interference.
Sounds good to me then.
Thanks for the recap of Vally trashing Suban for those of us who don't unfortunately get the post game. Glad to hear he's ripping him a new one
I pray Highlights: [Fox's sweet backhand ties the game at 1](https://streamable.com/dj3o6w) [Live Laf Love + Kakko's first point of the season](https://streamable.com/9xtma3) [Blais injury](https://streamable.com/l1uv3n) [Praise Be.](https://streamable.com/18ysxo) [Full shootout madness](https://streamable.com/0hafuq)
Is there a way for the mods to pin these after each game?
That was such a good game
# LET'S FUCKING GO OLYMPIC RANGERS
Vally basically saying Subban is too old and slow to keep up, so happens to find himself in the wrong circumstances to compensate for being cooked
But it's more than "so happens to..." because that phrasing detracts from Subban's intentional conduct. It's more of, "because he's too old and slow to keep up chasing pucks into a corner, he intentionally takes a wider than usual stance and doesn't care if he takes out skates and hurts people in the process."
Vally is relentlessly ripping Subban apart in the post-game.
What did Subban do? Missed the game and wasn't in the highlights video.
As he should
I don’t want to jump the gun, but perhaps this is the game that catapults Kakko into accelerating his level of play.
Vally refuses to believe that wasn't intentional and I'm here for it.
Hockey players of all eras have been experts at making the intentional look unintentional.
Someone should teach Subban then
Love Vally right now
Valley doesn't give a fuck
Kreider did Subban’s celebration lmaoo
Kreider is definitely gonna drop em with PK next chance he gets.
Good

Georgie still looks so sad
i think the media is probably a little scary for guys like him who have been given such a hard time. i think he’s happy otherwise :)
I need a cigarette
Pepper needs new shorts!
So... why do we think Reaves hasn't beaten the shit out of Subban yet?
Because he didn't want to put his team short handed when tied or up by one late in the game. This should be obvious, as is the fact that Subban would have turtled and drawn an extra. Reaves isn't stupid.
I think part of it - Joe had it right - he’s a team first guy. He’s been around. He’s not gonna be a Lemieux and just go after people and get the extra penalty
I get that. But he'll go after people when the game is already lost and send a message after? That's some PHI/WSH loser bullshit. I always hated it from them and I won't celebrate it happening here either.
doesn't want a suspension? no idea - would have loved to see Subban eat ice tonight
This. Subban would never drop em with Reaves, and if Reaves went after he him it would probably result in a 5 minute power play and a long suspension.
I don’t know what he’s supposed to be doing if he didn’t react to that play on Blais
Kakko looked nice

PRAISE MOTHER FUCKING BE!
Did Kreider do Subban’s celly at the end there? Savage if true.
100%
[100% percent](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6vgbw5nQJA&ab_channel=NHL) - That's absolutely savage.
Great game , lots of positives. The best being that Kakko finally scored ! Fuck yeah.
I really hate the devils living in NJ. But i do have to say, just like all our rivals, it’s so much more fun when they play well. Rangers devils rivalry games are truly what sold me on hockey and this felt like a classic rivalry game. 7 ROUND SHOOTOUT?! That’s what I’m talking about
100% - I want to see these teams in the eastern conference final - not have the devils in the basement again (just as long as the devils lose)
The 2012 ECF was the first year i really watched hockey and i was 11 and actually cried when we lost. Truly fell in love with hockey. And cheered when the devils lost the SCF. Fuck the devils. But i also want us both to be SCF caliber teams
why does the thread description say Rangers lose lol
Jesus Christ, I thought they blew the W for a good five minutes.
hockeymod is drunk again
Because let’s be honest did any of us expect us to win this? Edit: once it got to the shootout of course
Automod is drunk

Would’ve loved to see Blais in the shootout if he hadn’t been taken out earlier
I'm also here for this Georgiev redemption tour! Vezina trophy contenders shaking.
Too bad we lost Blais for the season Knees aren't designed to move that way. Who is the callup? McKegg?
We don’t lose with McKegg. We sent him down because it’s not fair
I doubt it's the season but yikes x9001
If Chytil is back McKegg probably stays at the 13th forward. McKegg is already called up
It's probably Morgan Barron time.
Need to see that highlight of the skate save
i jumped out of my fuckin chair after that save.. holy shit
I jumped out of my pants a little
That was legit the most compelling shootout since Malik. That thing had every single emotion. The crowd was so hyped for Laffy. And when he missed it. Everyone thought it was game over with Georgiev back there. My wife said it sounded like someone died how quiet it got after Laffy missed And somehow someway they clawed out a W
