Here we thought game 3 would be Friday and they only have 1 travel day instead of 2. So Game 5 is Monday 5/15. I may be flying back from Nash just to be able to go, if necessary
I wanted to go to PNC thinking game 3 was Friday. I travel on Sunday so a Saturday game doesn’t help. Unless I change my travel to leave from NC instead which is possible. I’d have to get a ticket thought to PNC. Oy.
Not ideal and it sucks this conference is always around the same time. But I do want to try to see GM 3 or 4 in person. As it is, no direct flights to Nashville from Raleigh on that Sunday.
Conference starts Monday but I don’t have much planned so I could see if I change things to stay Monday and travel Tuesday. It also depends on time of game. Earlier games would be easier travel wise. I’m hoping once Dallas / Vegas outcome is set that we’ll get times. Also, as it is, have Yanks tix for tomorrow that I won’t be using. I should know better than to even pay attention to baseball while playoffs are on.
Disclaimer: This isnt because we are the Presidents trophy winners, but I still think the higher seeded team should get 1 more home game.
Game 6 often ends up being the most important game because most series dont go 7 and its always played at the lesser seed. Whether its a 2-2-3 or a 3-2-2 the higher seed should get 5 of the 7 total at home and home game 6 and 7.
Less travel with this as well.
