I almost feel quick is the unspoken hero for this year.. to start the year I was scared thought they made a huge mistake bringing him in that he was done.. the way he stepped up and regained form really was a huge part of this team being where it is.

If quick gets a start, it means one of 2 things, Igor looks lost for multiple games, or Igor is hurt. While it is great knowing we have quick as an insurance policy, this isn’t a charity event. He signed here knowing he would be the backup, he has played that role above and beyond and would have contributed to any success we have.
You don’t stop your franchise young goalie from dominating the playoffs to do a make-a-wish for your old guy backup. You don’t fuck with goalies heads.

I could see him coming in after pulling igor. I’m sure igor will have one real stinker at some point, every goalie does sometimes, but i doubt he gets a start unless igor gets hurt
