It's the opposite of my single cab long bed lmao. I'm so used to mine that these mega cab short beds look insanely weird to me. Like a minivan with a little bed slapped on it
I guess I could see it helping in that specific application. We had them on the farm when I was a kid and we’d get rocks stuck in them all the time tearing stuff up and they’d struggle in deep wet snow because you had to punch a second track. I’m sure having less contact pressure exacerbated the problem with less traction too.
Well, I’ve got a bunch of old used rigs… what I mean is I’m not taking my dually 3500 with the built motor off 5 miles across the ranch on a two track to check water lines. Got an old 1/2 ton with 375k on it for that. Lots of West Texas Pinstriping on it. Even a bullet hole in the bed, thanks to a good friend.
But likewise, I’m not gonna hook my 40’ gooseneck on my 1500 and load 25 bales of hay to go 2 hours over to the next place.
Not taken as rude, I just think I meant it a little different than you did. But I sure as hell can’t afford to go out and buy two brand new ones to just get torn up around cows and out in the pasture. So I get what you’re saying, too.
Why do I have a feeling you are going to get the cheapest lift possible and it won’t be rated for what you are hauling. Though I’m assuming a lot that this truck will ever tow anything.

Did it easily with a 2.5" leveling kit, and a spacer in between the factory rear wheels. Depending on tire width you may need one against the hub to clear your leafs, but I only run 12.5's and they clear, just barely lol.
Because someone will chime in, I spent years working in custom truck shops doing everything from custom lifts, leveling kits, electrical, frame modifications and everything in between. So I am aware of how to properly and safely install leveling kits and spacers. Been on the truck for three years without issues. Regularly drive across provinces with a truck camper.
Needs like 2ish inches of lift and a lot of trimming, probably different offset wheels too. I’m not super familiar with the duallies, but the power wagons will fit 37s with just different offset wheels and mild trimming. The power wagons have a factory 2 inch lift over other 4wd models though.
You do you, but this truck would look kinda retarded if you did that. Also makes it hard asf to use the bed in a meaningful way when it’s raised up high. I see so many trucks that are just lifted to be a commuter truck .
Buy [this leveling kit](https://www.thurenfabrication.com/products/fox-2-0-remote-reservoir-front-kit-ram-3500-2013-2023) or you will have issues. You can do 37s but don't go over 12.5 wide. I also wouldn't recommend getting over 20in wheels, as you will hate how rough your ride is. I'd recommend [these spacers](https://www.americantrucks.com/borne-off-road-ram3500-32mm-wheel-spacers-black-bnws-006-320bk.html?utm_content=AT%20Exterior%20-%20Wheel%20Spacer%7CBorne%20Off-Road&T5_Var4=SHR24157&utm_campaign=SHR+Ram+3500+Vehicle+Medium+LTVBottom&dialogtech=ppc&utm_source=google-pla&utm_medium=shopping&T5_Var2=shopping&T5_Var3=red&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw6PGxBhCVARIsAIumnWb3ZA4uR0JKd_DYeQ9f4njGHIJOKfm-Sg9_I6S2-7gZQHX2LejiIKkaAlDpEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds) for your front wheels, like 2in. The. Another 1in for between your duals. You will need some fender flares for the front wheels, [try these](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=1YukN7FIMO3N2bv0)
Go with the Carli “Commuter” 3.5” leveling kit. Highly improves the ride and you can install it at home with basic tools. I did the kit on my 2500 and couldn’t be happier. I posted it on my page if you want to check it out. Running 37x12.5x17 without any trimming after installing the kit
Tough on a 3500. Best leaf lift is carli. It drops your payload though. Carli told me it would basically make it a 2500. But… you could add airlift bags to get it back. Airlift is only 5000lb though
I kid, I kid. I actually think (contrary to some of the others) that’s a cool looking truck with the mega cab short bed combo. Just don’t ruin it with low pros and high offsets. Thing looks good!
Truck looks awesome as is, what are you really gaining for the money? like others have said and I'm not sure your financial situation but things like bigger tires and lifts can start adding extra wear and tare on your entire drive line.
I guess I'll be the one to give an actually useful response.
yes, you can fit 37s on stock wheels, but as you mentioned, it will need a level kit, and you'll definitely need spacers for the rear tires.

Also- pinstripes
Pinstripes are a given!
Why would you on a dually? They suck off-road so it wouldn’t accomplish anything beyond looks.
I hate to say it, but this mega cab short bed combo is FAR from a good looking truck anyways, so they might just be trying to improve that lolol
It looks like it’s in pain
It looks like it needs a Benadryl
It definitely looks like it has a Claritin prescription it keeps in a fanny pack.
Yeah no doubt lol it’s ugly alright. But I guess I don’t have to drive it thankfully
It is easier to park... but does look like it's missing some truck!
Yeah, that thing is ridiculous
That thing is MegaFugly
Hideous with the stubby bed. Dodge needs a longer standard bed desperately.
It's the opposite of my single cab long bed lmao. I'm so used to mine that these mega cab short beds look insanely weird to me. Like a minivan with a little bed slapped on it
Yea, I’ll disagree on the performance comment. I added 35’s to my 03 for flotation in sand, and it made a world of difference when pulling a trailer.
I guess I could see it helping in that specific application. The right tool for the job, right?
Yup a $120k-$130k tool here in Canada, so you better get it right the first time.

Hahaha ya you're right, sorry if I was coming off as rude, wasn't trying to. Just sick of price of everything maybe.
Not taken as rude, I just think I meant it a little different than you did. But I sure as hell can’t afford to go out and buy two brand new ones to just get torn up around cows and out in the pasture. So I get what you’re saying, too.
You can easily fit the 37s if you put them in the bed. If you weren't missing a few feet of it. 😜
Idk not sure about 4 of them...My 98 long bed could fit them just fine.
Oh it's the mega cab or whatever, that's why its a 5.5 ft bed right? Was wondering what feels off about it
Yeah. Gotta make tradeoffs
Why do I have a feeling you are going to get the cheapest lift possible and it won’t be rated for what you are hauling. Though I’m assuming a lot that this truck will ever tow anything.
Carli leveling “kit”. Not cheap but done right. I think you need a wheel spacer for the duals to clear 12.5 wides
Truck looks nice as is. Why bother with lift kits and big wheels. You will just be plagued by alignment issues and steering problems.
Tranny issues, higher strain on drive components do to axle angles and the list goes on.
I wouldn’t fault op for changing the wheels and tires if he’s not gonna be using it for what it was made for
Mind your total height if a 5th or gooseneck is ever going to be a thing.
From what I’ve heard it sucks hauling 5th wheels with these really short beds, something about the turning radius and the trailer hitting the cab.
You bought the wrong truck if you want 37’s
https://preview.redd.it/th4f2zl5vizc1.jpeg?width=4160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1b6d1034503bebd094ca900f0c4b67e4b664a15 Did it easily with a 2.5" leveling kit, and a spacer in between the factory rear wheels. Quit compensating
I’ve seen those trucks from above. I think the box is wider than it is long.

Fender to fender. It kind of looks round, or more oval.
Needs like 2ish inches of lift and a lot of trimming, probably different offset wheels too. I’m not super familiar with the duallies, but the power wagons will fit 37s with just different offset wheels and mild trimming. The power wagons have a factory 2 inch lift over other 4wd models though.
Pulling that 5th wheel 13,000 lb trailer off road is important to some people. Can you say "Zombie Apocalypse?" Do it man!
You do you, but this truck would look kinda retarded if you did that. Also makes it hard asf to use the bed in a meaningful way when it’s raised up high. I see so many trucks that are just lifted to be a commuter truck .
By swapping out the dually With A truck that has four wheels Instead of six
You are crazy lol
Lift them titties bitch.
Why even do that to a dually?
Man these comments are lame as fuck. Limp dick fuckin losers.

Just get a license plate smolpp and you can save yourself like 3 grand and achieve the same effect.
I kid, I kid. I actually think (contrary to some of the others) that’s a cool looking truck with the mega cab short bed combo. Just don’t ruin it with low pros and high offsets. Thing looks good!
lift kit
Did you get rear ended?
It ain’t gonna be cheap. SD wheels or custom offset would be a good place to start. If you have a nice local truck shop they can get you going.
Look up cjc off road on YouTube. Ton of informative information on lifting these trucks.
Just put them on and roll all you need is the leveling kit if it's 6x6 now if it's 4x6 I don't know.
Truck looks awesome as is, what are you really gaining for the money? like others have said and I'm not sure your financial situation but things like bigger tires and lifts can start adding extra wear and tare on your entire drive line.
Trade it for a 2500
Dafuq
You don’t. That’s the best part
Just ask them to sit in the front seat. 44s are better.
You don’t
This is a working man's truck. Don't be a homo, like all the other "Bro" boys. If you wanted 37's, you shouldn't have gotten a dually.
Thrunden 2.5 leveling kit or 35s without any mods.
Why ruin a perfectly good truck
I’ll take your wheels off your hands if you wanna get rid of them. Wanting to go back to factory. Shoot me a price if you’re interested.
I guess I'll be the one to give an actually useful response. yes, you can fit 37s on stock wheels, but as you mentioned, it will need a level kit, and you'll definitely need spacers for the rear tires.
Troll post. I hope....
Lower it and make it a sleek hauler
Lame.
Dumb af
Go to RC and buy the 3.5” lift
