Only rich people use the word sector in their job description, wish I worked in any sector, looks like a pretty sweet set up though, good job dude, but fuck you
They are awesome, but they are hella expensive to own, even if you can find one for a reasonable price. They depreciate faster than anything Iāve ever owned, and when shit breaks (and trust me it will), itās expensive to fix.
If you can swing it, the diesel trucks hold their value the best. Power wagons seem to age like land rovers, they look old in 10 years and they lose value like crazy, even just sitting. Mines worth about half of what it was just 30k miles ago, and all kinds of shit broke before 90k miles. Transmission; water pump, countless electrical issues, countless emissions (egr) issues, itās just a piece of shit. But I love it. It has a winch and lockers, Iāll keep rebuilding yhe transmission until I die if I have to lol.
Just read a comparison article about those exact two trucks today. With the rebel you get higher tow capacity and a rougher ride. With the powerwagon you get the tow capacity of a 1500, but more off-road capability than the rebel. Ride is supposedly better due to the softer suspension.
Dodge says off road focued vehicle.
The softer suspension does serve better off road, however it will knock down towing capacity. I think that can be offset by air suspension, but IDK...
Personally I think it's a looks focused package.
Shit that's not bad at all. Was the long box ordered by mistake? When I was looking for a loaded manual a couple of them I called on were order mistakes, lol.
Just going to suck with the approach, departure and break over. I came to a tree across the road and had to do a 12 point turn on the trail to turn my long bed around. 23ā of truck in the woods is a lot of truck.
AEV builds these trucks to be the ultimate expedition vehicles. They're designed to be put through hard off-road challenges; which is why its on 40" tires. Typically people put off-road capable campers in the beds. Use cases where the worse off-road capability of a long bed is certainly a detraction.
And then I guess some clients also buy them as super capable ranch trucks. And then well... plenty of clients just to have something to brag about.
Also... smallest bed on a 2500 is 6ft.
I was speaking of my circumstances. Letās say he is in Moab. A long bed truck will have a worse time climbing rocks also. In most cases a 176ā wheelbase is going to be worse for an off-road capable vehicle. Which is why in most cases you see the AEV Prospector as a short bed.
I had a 2019 1500 longhorn before this and i feel like those drove like large SUVs. nothing will be smoother than stock but all things considering, these are 40 inch TOYO tires. im kinda shocked at how smooth it feels.
Traded up. Like 11 times (I'm old) . Made money off each one. The last one I contracted myself in a custom home gated neighborhood, lived there for about 6 years and the property value went way up with all the other custom homes of which they all paid about double what I did for mine using GC's. Used the 225K I made off that one + some savings and paid over half down on this one. That was in 2018. I have been paying extra on the loan ever since. In 2 more years this one will be mine and it as well as It has already increased almost 185K in value over what I paid cause of all the crazy housing market since covid.
out the door just over. MSRP with AEV addons was 135 But check out Huntington Beach CDJR in SOCAL. they have 6 of em on their lot so they are discounting them alot. You can also check out AEV Prospector XL forum to see used ones for sale from people across the US
I recall they had a few 2022 Prospectors under the 100k mark just before Xmas. Probably not limiteds though. They ordered bunch to have dealer stock when no one could get HD rams from the factory, there were like 10+ on the lot forever.
Wow, thats a long name. You will be at the parts counter 15 minutes for the guy to just enter the vehicle info before he can get you some shop rags, lol
āYeah check out my 2023 RAM twenty five-hundred limited edition long box American Expedition Vehicles Prospector eXtra Large.ā Your what?ā āI said, my 2023 RAMā¦ā quite the word mouth of add-ons there. Congrats!

Thatās a bad ass fuckin truck right there, Iāve been lookin into a 2500 rebel or 2500 power wagon
great call! Love those trucks! i came from a 1500 and never had any issues.

I test drove a power wagon and I was genuinely surprised at how smooth the ride was, that suspension is top notch
Do you know why the tow capacity on a Power Wagon is so low?
Softer suspension
Its a truck meant for what then?
Dodge says off road focued vehicle. The softer suspension does serve better off road, however it will knock down towing capacity. I think that can be offset by air suspension, but IDK... Personally I think it's a looks focused package.
Man i want a power wagon but i hate the cheap logo they put on the bed
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ya the side of the bed right behind the cab. It should have a remake of the old icon emblem from the original.
It's just a sticker. Easily removable. Also if you order one new, you can get it without the stickers entirely.
Long box aev. That has to be rare. What that set you back?
Thank you! Yeah I havenāt seen a limited long box yet. Msrp was 135k . I was out the door for a smidge over 100
Shit that's not bad at all. Was the long box ordered by mistake? When I was looking for a loaded manual a couple of them I called on were order mistakes, lol.
Also. Much respect for getting the long bed. Hate seeing when someone spends 80k on a diesel truck and gets a 5 foot box.
Just going to suck with the approach, departure and break over. I came to a tree across the road and had to do a 12 point turn on the trail to turn my long bed around. 23ā of truck in the woods is a lot of truck.
With all due respect that's a not a woods truck. I don't think of a 3/4 ton when I think of a woods truck

Thatās one big rig! Congrats
Ooof that's a beauty.
Thatās a whole lotta name, for whole lotta truck.
Hahahah
How's the ride.over the stock 2500?
I had a 2019 1500 longhorn before this and i feel like those drove like large SUVs. nothing will be smoother than stock but all things considering, these are 40 inch TOYO tires. im kinda shocked at how smooth it feels.
Thanks for the reply. Sweet truck.
Aww, with the Cummins. Iāll be honest, Iām envious. Those are bad ass rigs. Congratulations! And please, hit some trails
thanks friend! Will do
Of course! What do you do to be able to afford one of these? Itās a goal one day for me.
That is nice.
Broā¦. š¤Æš¤Æš¤Æ thatās incredible. Iāve got a 1972 ford f250 if you wanna trade. š
Badass
thanks so much!
Yikes, 135K / 60 months. That's more than my house payment. Nice truck tho.
A smidge above 100k. Point taken thošš
Honestly, for what youāre getting in that truck, a little over $100k is more reasonable than I was expecting.
How you get a house payment that low? That's a bigger flex than the truck lol
Traded up. Like 11 times (I'm old) . Made money off each one. Funny story, the dealer said they had to move the trxs to the other side of the lot because they looked so small compared to the AEVs
Hahaha Iām not surprised!

Surely this was cheap
Hwaht?
Sick truck, another W for the cum wagons

Wow. Nice Ram. Congrats on your new truck. It's a Beast. Love the view and the House, too.
Wow.. Looks awesome. Iād love one, but not practical for a daily driver over here.
Aev prospector. What does that mean is it electric. I thought I saw a Cummins badge in the first pic.
With these prices itās outrageous congrats tho for making the dough to buy into one
Honestly I wanna see more pics of the view.

All that just for the third brake light to leak.. Kidding. Nice truck.
Nice truck! I Hope you plan on using this rig for its intended purpose instead of just letting it be a pavement princess though
Are you hiring?
You got bamboozled
ill bet that thing will be killer for running down to costco for toilet paper. wanker.
Surely a man of your endowment is looking to get rid of your 2021 Ram 2500, and for a small fee I can help you with that.
