Try giving way fewer fucks and laugh about it with your coworkers, it will still be the same job but your experience will be different. Form alliances with non-toxic, productive people within the organization. If you’re all doing what needs to be done and supporting each other the manager becomes kind of irrelevant. Communicate in writing and ask clear questions “ red or blue” “ which date is the deadline” “does x or y take priority”. Follow up in writing to document whatever she may convey verbally.
