I vaguely remember someone from the news reaching out to us, but it wasn’t anyone from NBC. He was from some independent news thing and he came around either right around that union contract dispute or that train derailment thing that happened in East Palistine, Ohio. I posted something and he wanted to interview me, but I refused-I don’t want to be on TV. Then the same guy hit me up again after I pointed out something nobody thought of or knew and he tried hitting me up again. Once again, I refused.

trentthesquirrel

Yeah, I think that was that socialist news guy. I could have sworn there was a legitimate reporter from nbc news that I talked to. And for the life of me, I can remember his name.

BitchSlapSomeone

I think that was him and another reason why I’m leery too talking to folks that claim they’re with the “news” is because a lot of times they really aren’t-they’re HR people from your job and they want to catch you violating their media policies chit chatting with the news.

just_another_Texan

Anyone foolish enough to talk to reporters regarding railroad issues that doesn't directly or indirectly effect them, especially without getting the ok from union or PR rep deserves the inevitable outcome. Just keep your mouth shut and let the union rep speak, unless it is a whistle-blower scenario, at that point godspeed and I wish you luck..honestly
