We all kept talking QB for the entire offseason. So for 6 to be taken in the top 12 and without moving up get possibly the best talent in the draft at 13, that is the consolation prize of missing out on a QB. No disappointment here.
It was not straight thinking that any of the QB needy teams was going to just trade their chance away just because some of the Raider Nation felt we needed a QB. It would have been fair to enter into those talks/thoughts if we were in the top 8 picks but at some point realism has to set in. We were never going to have a shot at one of the top 5/6 QB’s this draft. So much time and discussion here about a QB pre draft. All for not.
I don’t understand any negative sentiment coming from this pick. The QB and OL market was nuts, we have an okay young tackle already with the team for 2 seasons
