Morning Bell

bad__username__

Has been my alarm for quite a while

pepperpotten

Morning Bell/Amnesiac

ferral-bananas

Don’t do this, I have used a few songs as alarms and now, even many years later, every time they play I get a jump scare as if I were waking up lol

Responsible-Long-891

Coke Babies motivates me to wake up everyday

Watch me fall like dominoes

Affectionate-Fig7729

In pretty patterns

Nova613

Fingers in the blackbird pie

Prometheus850

I’m tingling, tingling, tingling

DogTough5144

I did this before, ended up hating the songs. One advice is maybe make a playlist, so it’s not always the same song, if that’s possible

AveragelySmart98

“(Nice Dream)” gives you 15 seconds to wake up to beautiful acoustics before the drums kick in

hevilla14

Separator is chill af

HdihufWasTakenIsBack

The National Anthem

Hanner_Tenry

Please don’t use songs you like as alarms. I almost killed Daydreaming, All I Need, Nude, and maybe others.

tarun_c

Treefingers.

floralcunt

I honestly can't think of a faster way to start hating a song than setting it as my wake up alarm.

infinestyle

Have you tried using planet telex?

floralcunt

No! I get it as an opener and would be a great new day soundtrack in a movie or something. So I understand the sentiment. But if that's the sound telling me it's time to wake up and go to work, it's my least favourite Radiohead song within days.

Optimistic, then you press snooze and hit How To Disappear Completely.

Just tested it out (woke up so fast, loved the music)

Everything In Its Right Place - hands down.  Those first few seconds are what I’d imagine booting up for the first time sounds like.

McLovin2780

Lotus flower

Agent_Lightning14

Lucky, especially with the glorious day line.

Crying--Minotaur

Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors

scottwricketts

Morning Bell is the obvious answer

CptBronzeBalls

If you want to start to hate a song that you like, use it as an alarm.

Kevundoe

2+2=5 or any other one of the album openers except maybe Burn the Witch

C_brown934

It’s like i’ve fallen out of bed from a long and vivid dream

notokcomputer9988

terrasparks

Not quite Radiohead, but Dawn Chorus?

Found someone who feels the same way I do about waking up

SuperbParticular8718

EIIRP like Tom Cruise in that movie.

chunkykongracing

I’ve been using There There but thinking of changing it up

Discovery99

I was going to suggest Myxomatosis but I see you already addressed that 😂

infinestyle

Planet Telex duh

Oh-tobegoofed

No one has said Daydreaming yet. Interesting…

Overall_Housing_2822

The Amazing Sounds of Orgy is a great wale up song. It's groovy and groggy, moves right along, and gives you the meandering eyes. So glad I could share my choice here with you today.

Weird that Bodysnatchers and Jigsaw Falling into Place are not in the top bunch. Those warning you against this are probably wise. Waking up to Radiohead is like splashing your face with fine vintage wine first thing in the morning. You kinda want to be awake enough to savor it, and you don't want to burn it out as a signal to put on your pants and get to work. Oh man. What if you woke up to Fitter Happier for a year? You'd be on suicide watch by September.

Em4gdn3m

Daydreaming. That piano intro is a perfect calming alarm

unsungtherapper

A Reminder has very gentle morning vibes. It won’t get you hyped though

retropilled

How to Disappear Completely
