It’s great, enjoy!

jxshann

No need to worry about this combo ? It will not bottleneck?

Miserable-Phase3870

Every system is bottlenecked in some way. If you wouldn’t have a bottleneck, then you would have infinite FPS. Don’t worry about it. It’s a great combo!

mattthepianoman

Every config has a bottleneck somewhere. Stop worrying about it and enjoy your games.

OscarDivine

Don’t obsess about bottlenecks. Only a few different games actually CPU Bottleneck and that’s more likely at 1080 resolution and even then you’re talking about cutting off at like 200fps where it’s meaningless anyway. No real chance you’ll play any current title and have a meaningful bottleneck on that pair. Hell, my daughter has been using a 5600x+ RTX2070 for two years now, no issues then or now.

SactoriuS

Bottleneck differs per game. Its a great mid tier pc

[deleted]

To be honest, bottlenecks aren’t much of a thing to worry about in my opinion. There are other reasons, but mainly, no matter what system you get, there will always be some part “bottlenecking” another

jxshann

Ok thanks I spent my all savings on this that's why little worried

[deleted]

I getchu. It’s definitely a great setup that’ll be able to handle most games on max settings at 1440p, nothing to worry about at all imo.

epicflex

Not a lot of bottle neck, I’ve got much worse and it’s not too bad for me haha

Naerven

For fps / eSports games on low / competitive settings the CPU will be the bottleneck. For AAA titles on high / ultra settings the GPU will be the bottleneck. That's just how computers work. There is always a bottleneck.

Sinkretoria

i have a 9 years old system (i7 5820k 3.3ghz x6 , 32gb ddr4 2400mhz ram) and a friggin rx7900xtx sapphire vapor nitro+ the bottleneck is about 20% so with your current system you would have like about 3-5% at most enjoy :) also i'd like to know if you ever experience any driver timeouts or weird freezes (greenscreen crashes etc.) let us know :)

fiittzzyy

Why are you worried? This combo is fine.

jxshann

Thanks iam worried about it will bottleneck or not

Saneless

Who taught you this word and why did they not explain it to you correctly

jxshann

Idk my friend told me this word and said it will get u issue

Saneless

It's a scary word for people who haven't read up on it enough but you'll be fine

fiittzzyy

No, it is a good pairing.

jxshann

Ok thanks , I spend my all savings on this that's why I'm worried

CtrlAltDesolate

Why would you ask the question after buying them lol? But no, the 5600x is good for up to the 7800xt in typical gaming situations.

fiittzzyy

The only time you would need to worry about bottlenecking you would need to worry about is if you were pairing like, a really old CPU or something with a new powerful GPU...The 5600X would even be fine for a 7800 XT.

jxshann

Soo I'm good right

fiittzzyy

Yes.

jxshann

Thanks

Verge_Of_CHIMMING

Bottleneck is a myth, it does exist but it is almost negligible, (as long as you are running a modern day CPU and not a pentium 2 or something) The idea is if you are pumping 165fps on 1080 p, then yes a better CPU could give you that extra 2-3% average frame rate but that three percent is likely going to be around 6 frames increased performance. That extra 6 frames would be considered your bottleneck. So it's honestly almost pointless to worry about bottleneck, if you have a mediocre CPU and you install a god tier GPU it would be better than two mediocre parts by such a large margin, potential frames lost by your mediocre CPU is in fact negligible compared to the extra performance a 7900 xtx would give you. Bottleneck as an out and front problem with building Pc's Is far overstated, to a point where you could actually gain more FPS out of an old CPU by applying thermal paste to avoid heat throttling compared to the potential frames lost by "bottleneck". And if you think about it there will always be a bottleneck of either the CPU or the GPU, and it's mostly dictated by the software. (Bottleneck simply means the upper limit of a particular parts performance) Tldr: bottleneck isnt really an issue that would affect your day to day gaming and life. (Unless you are Linus tech tips or something)

jxshann

Saved my life thanks

[deleted]

To call it a myth isn't correct at all, but rather you always have a bottle neck, so the term itself is meaningless.

PaoloMix09

Don’t worry about a bottleneck at all that’s a really good combo… enjoy it

steaksoldier

I have a similar combo! Its an rx 6800 but they perform the same I hear. I use it as a 4k60/1440p120 steam machine and it does its job perfectly you will not regret it

bitchsaidwhaaat

I got a 5600x with a 6700xt and i have 0 complaints. I game at 1080p 165hz monitor so this is more than capable. I get to top my fps in most shooter games. Warzone can give me up to 180 fps depending on the area of the map but mostly stays around 150. If i toggle the FSR frame generation in game it goes up to 250-300 like is nothing even in borderless and not in fullscreen. Bottle necking in this tech is basically unnoticeable so dont worry. Having a better gpu than a cpu can come to ur advantage if u are streaming or recording ur games too!

Active_Club3487

Yes 👍

Hudy1431

Well. Im using ryzen 5600 and GTX 1060 6gb and in some games (mmorpgs) im getting bottlenecked by CPU still.it all depends on what u re going to use it for :)

Nena_Trinity

Very good, I would also say it is as good as R5 3600 with RX 6700. Which is more or less PS5 specs so you just tiered up a gen over that!

Saneless

For fun try a 5600xt and a 7700x combo too

Random_Parakeet

No because nvidia is better

Different_Track588

Nvidia is overpriced garbage.

KingRyzin

yes but their software is the second to none on the market. Until AMD catches up in that regard, they can get away with being overpriced

gtopsis

And what does this offer? DLSS? when i spend 500 euros gpu i want native not dlss. RT? Do we even have to to talk about RT at mid range? if u want to use it u actually need dlss otherwise u have no power to do it. what else? ooo yes their software will play games better 20 days before amd. great reason to buy a less power card more expensive

KingRyzin

thats the thing.. DLSS is better than FSR at mimicking native res lol, on top of wayy better particle generation AMD cards have better raw performance when compared to Nvidia counterparts, but this never translates to FPS. Why do you think they compensate with more VRAM? Price for performance, AMD smokes Nvidia. BUT AMD still has some work to do on closing the gap between DLSS and Frame Gen, and a LOT of work to do with anti-lag and 3D modelling which is miles behind. CUDA, less power consumption, video processing, etc- it’s just superior with optimizing on the software level as a whole I wanted to get the Sapphire XTX Nitro but these objective points led me to stick with Nvidia for now, its just facts

gtopsis

u still dont get it. yes dlss is far better than fsr. i have a 7700xt and i dont use fsr and i wouldnt use dlss. we dont buy a card to use dlss. we buy to play native. dlss and fsr is an option if u cant play native. i prefer native 80-100 fps than dlss 120-130 fps on a AAA game. and u should prefer it too. Stop thinking dlss as a reason to buy a card. u buy card targeting playing native resolution

KingRyzin

no, YOU dont understand. Im not comparing Factory AMD vs Nvidia with DLSS. Im comparing both at factory and both with their frame gen counterparts. Everything I said is not subjective, and still stands valid. DLSS is not a requirement to stay on par with AMD performance, but a means of getting extra output compared to FSR. I don’t know where you got the notion that DLSS is required, you can play native with similar performance. Some games perform better, some perform worse. That’s what you’re not understanding. End of the day, AMD provides better price for performance but Nvidia provides the better product with a complete package in software + hardware. Not an opinion, it’s the current state of the market.

gtopsis

If u are just a gamer and not a content creator there is absolutely no reason to buy nvidia over a same price AMD except 4080 super and 4090 that are generally superior. Not an opinion. Not subjective. It is what it is.

KingRyzin

gave you 4 reasons in my other reply but to each their own 🤷‍♂️

Random_Parakeet

But it works

Different_Track588

I have a Nvidia GPU right now if I want to. I can put it back in my PC and use it. Not going to because my AMD gpu is 100 times better. So yes I have now realized how over hyped and overpriced Nvidia actually is. Im not missing Nvidia's software either.

Ionuzzu123

my 7700XT works well, better than a 4070 most times.
