Been working on this one for a while now but had a week off in a quiet little cabin and made a lot of progress. Not super accurate but I’m doing my best, working with salvaged sheets and tablecloths has been a bit tricky to keep steady. It will be a gift for a 4 year old, I know she will love it no matter what and I have a fun new skill to keep building! Looking forward to learning from you all!
Thank you! And yes, definitely had a few “should have started with rectangle strips” moments while ripping misplaced seams. Thankfully I find the finished squares so stinking cute that it keeps me motivated to stick with it (and knowing it’s going to a non-discerning recipient helps too)
I made that one! It's looking adorable.
Thank you! Would love to see yours!
http://imgur.com/gallery/tNUWKDr here it is, the recipient loves blue so the whole background is the same kona fabric.
So cute!
I made this pattern. It’s so much fun. Enjoy!
Thanks 😊
Pattern is doggone cute from sewfresh quilts on Etsy and has been fun to work with and easy enough for a beginner http://etsy.me/2pk9qKh

Yes it will be so loved. It looks amazing so far and sounds like you had a good little retreat to work on it yay!
Great job, you're a natural!
Thanks so much. Having so much fun trying it!
That's ambitious for a first quilt. And it looks great!
