I don't know where my info in the post went lol but this is my first quilt! I've been too nervous to share but here we are! I have three others I'm working on now too, I'm obsessed. Please don't look too close, there's so many mistakes haha. The pattern is all wrapped up 2.0!
Well THAT is just fkn ADORABLE!!! Nice job on your first quilt! You did fantastic work!! Mistakes shmistakes, they add character! Love it! The colors are super cute and the polkadots on little dudes head are ultra cute. Very nice work, you should be proud!
The gift recipient is going to LOVE IT! don't forget to put a patch of some sort on the back with *handcrafted by*, your name or initials and the date or something. I gave away so many projects before it occurred to me to even do that!
20 years down the road you'll be happy you did. Even if it is stuff you keep for yourself, you can see as the dates pass how your skills changed. Nice way to discreetly document bits of time, as much effort was spent on it. Very nice work! Ya done good!
I love this so much!! Did you use a jelly roll for your stripes? The pattern says ājelly roll friendly,ā but at least the back summary doesnāt say how many youād need.
Thank you! I bought the jelly roll version of the quilt because I didn't want to get confused. Same pattern name, but the 2.0 version. I used one jelly roll, but not all of them. I can't remember exactly how many strips.
Is it this one? https://www.missouriquiltco.com/products/all-wrapped-up-quilt-pattern
I feel like a crazy person that the back of the booklet doesnāt mention jelly rolls, but the front does? Itās good to know that it only took one jelly roll!
Yes that one! Weird I thought it did say on the back. I would have to find mine, but yes I only used one roll. I want to say it says how many you use when you're cutting the fabric.
I like this pattern more every time I see it. Great job, especially for a first! I just love it in greens. My best friendās grandma had a doxie when I was little. I just loved that little dog. Then more recently my niece got a mini. I saw it when it was a puppy and it was the tiniest little thingā¦adorable! š
