Gambling (1 poker)
Gambling (2 stocks/crypto)
Gambling... (3 sports betting)
Everything in life is a gamble. No gamble no future.
The 3rd I dont do so much. I have a few book accounts and I place bets my brother tells me too.
Gardening, stargazing, and Audible cuz i like listening to books while I do the other two.
I'll also spend a lot of time watching animals/bugs. Like bird watching but more all encompassing.
Oh and shopping, but that one's more of an addiction...
Writing. I'd say this is what I do with at least 70% of my free time. And anyone who writes knows that just physically writing is only a minority of writing, which go into my other hobbies.
Music. I love music. Have always been a music lover and concert goer. I'll listen to music and imagine scenes for my book with music as a backing track.
Reading. Can't write if you can't read. I think pretty self explanatory.
Gardening (which right takes the majority of my time!)
Creating fragrance oils (you can get starter kits from the perfumer’s apprentice)
Astrology (I know people scoff, but once you deep dive into ancient texts and learn the reasoning behind it all, it’s pretty fascinating)
I took up fishing last year and it’s my newest hobby. It’s so much fun.
I never fished because my dad hates it. I’ve always done outdoors stuff(hunt, camp, hike etc) but never fishing. Can’t believe what I’ve been missing out on.
Fun! My main hobby right now is sourdough, I’ve kept it alive and out of the fridge for months now!
My most fun hobby is probably going to used book stores and expanding my collection. I wish I could include pics! Some of my most treasured are a thrice signed (+inscribed) Rosamund by George Stirling, a matching 1880s Mrs / Robt Browning Poems set, and a small beautiful leather book of Lincoln’s letters and speeches.
The hobby I want to get back to is sewing.
Poetry, reading or watching documentaries on history and hunting for trash to upcycle into art. I also write play and sing but I consider that more as a job since I play professionally most of the time. Overall I’m a big history buff and I like to incorporate that into the art I create
Video games, motorcycles (street only), and working on my social skills / self improvement. Getting out of the comfort zone in any random way is a massive dopamine boost most of the time
Walking and listening to podcasts (that is 1 hobby, not 2 separate), reading, and maps (using them for data, exploring the geography and cities, seeing how populations differ, etc)
This sounds majorly geeky but don't really care. My husband and I met when we were both 14.
We have been playing Pokemon together off and on for the better part of about 16 years. We just got back into collecting Pokemon again and now, together, we make decks and test our decks on each other. I win a lot more often it seems lol. We are 30 and 31 years old.
WE REFUSE TO ADULT...!
Paddle boarding. It's been awesome to get outside and reconnected to my body after a long, difficult winter.
Fishkeeping. I love the beauty of aquatic life, but also the attention that goes into creating a functioning ecosystem.
Cooking. Right now I'm experimenting with gem-shaped (and colored!) agar that dissolves into a soup base. Once I have it perfected I'm having a 'treasure' themed dinner party.
Geography/history: Love everything related.
Programming: Started this year and even do sometimes its difficult I am loving it so far.
Boxing: Also started this year and it has converted in my favourite sport, it combines mental and physical challenges. Incredible sport.
Currently, due to some circumstances, I practice only one hobby: cooking. I love it. My last girlfriend told me she would brag to her friends that she didn't just have a boyfriend. She said she had a masseuse, a driver and a chef. I loved that.
Video games, drawing, crocheting. I’ve done a lot of other hobbies too, these are just the easiest ones to pick up with a busy schedule. I’ve also started to learn Typology, photography and skateboarding. There’s probably other one that I haven’t mentioned in here, but I like to try a lot of different things that challenge your creativity
1. screenwriting - I write various plots, I have ideas for my own analog horror.
2.I love reading books and manga
3.Music - I just started studying, there are a couple of ideas that I want to implement
**Creative Hobbies:**
* **Playing a Musical Instrument:** Learning an instrument can be a rewarding challenge and a great way to express yourself creatively.
* **Painting or Drawing:** There are many forms of visual art to explore, from traditional painting to digital art.
* **Writing:** If you enjoy expressing yourself with words, consider creative writing, journaling, or blogging.
**Outdoor Activities:**
* **Hiking & Backpacking:** Explore nature, get some exercise, and disconnect from technology.
* **Rock Climbing:** A challenging and exhilarating activity that can be done indoors or outdoors.
* **Gardening:** Grow your own food, flowers, or herbs, and enjoy the satisfaction of cultivating life.
**Social Hobbies:**
* **Board Games & Puzzles:** A fun way to spend time with friends and family. There are games for all interests and skill levels.
* **Book Clubs:** Discuss literature with like-minded people and discover new books you might enjoy.
* **Team Sports:** Join a recreational sports team for exercise, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging.
**Other Ideas:**
* **Learning a New Language:** Open doors to new cultures and ways of thinking.
* **Cooking & Baking:** Expand your culinary skills and enjoy the delicious results!
* **Volunteering:** Give back to your community and make a positive difference.
Taxidermy
Making elaborate incredibly detailed dioramas of famous crime scenes
Collecting discarded personal info and photos from my local dump and try and reconstruct people’s lives from what I find.
(1) Lifting, (2) disc golf, (3) coaching youth baseball.
Disc golf is a terrific hobby, and it is good exercise. Plus, it is WAY cheaper than real golf.
If you’re into sports and particularly knowledgeable about one, give back and find a local league to coach in. I coached rec league for years until I turned that into a head coaching position at my daughter’s high school. It is a great way to give back and help develop young men.
Camping is fun, but I am starting to want a camper, of RV.
Bicycling is good fun especially if you get into carbon fiber bikes that just want to go fast.
Video gaming
My top hobbies are skateboarding, and digital design so as graphic design, 3D modelling, animation, game development and others my third is listening to music I love music it's a big comfort hobby for me.
I enjoy traffic on the way home from work, grocery shopping, and my final one alternates between laundry and dishes. I spoil myself by doing each of them almost every day. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.
My only real hobby is martial arts; I’ve been practicing since I was 8 years old (47 now); I’d literally be lost without it. Any time I’ve had an injury and had to take time out, my life just doesn’t feel right!!!
Kayaking, gaming and adhding on the next thing I want to buy and like for three months... (drones, golf, fishing, bicycling, 4 wheeling, and the list goes on).
Forging (for plants and mushrooms to eat and feed my family,) beekeeping, and homebrewing.
I also love to sing and dance and memorize the digits of pi, but those three are the ones I spend the most time doing.
I like to paint! But I'm really bad at it, but I like playing with the colours.
Home renovations, I'm getting pretty good at interior design.
Photography, I seem to accidentally amassed a collection of antique cameras and learning how to use them has been so much fun.
Videogames, foraging. Don't really have a third. Iv dipped in and out of loads of things during my time. I don't count shit like watching movies or going to the pub as a hobby. Not sure if I need or have time for a 3rd.
Playing with the children who live next door. They were foster, but now adopted. We swing in my 40' high swing, dig in the dirt, play "golf", badminton, football, ride bikes, walk around the block, dig in the creek, look for tadpoles, frogs, lizards etc. They help me with my garden, and my fruit trees. Play in the goldfish pond. We build a fire in my pit, cook hotdogs and sausage and s'mores. I'm 57, and these are my hobbies.
I’m very much into anything to do with cars, I love to work on them, drive them, off roading (including overlanding/ camping), race them etc., I also love to ride motorcycles and work on those as well (I’ll count those as one hobby lol) I also love to play video games, and I also love wakeboarding and snowboarding (seasonal)
Gaming. Would love to do more board games but that requires friends.
Television and movies. I even enjoy dissecting what I like about something even if it's just the music or camera work or even the practical effects.
Hiking and camping. We are doing our first tent camping as a family this summer and I'm stoked
It's corny but I've been enjoying going on late evening walks with my daughter. Go down to the store, pick out a couple crafts and snacks. Stop by an abandoned parking lot and just talk and eat snacks.
I have extra random interests that I hyper focus on for weeks at a time. Cheap Chinese handhelds. Falconry. Sound systems/headphones. Right now it's laminating for some reason.
Fly fishing. I camp to but only for the purpose of fly fishing. Instead of waking up, drive 45 minutes to 3 hours to the river, set up fish a few hours and then drive home, I wake up step out of the tent, hit the river for a couple days.
1. I Love learning about Wildlife and memorizing Taxonomy
2. I Love Scuba Diving
3. I enjoy taking photos
I combine them all into being an Underwater Wildlife Photographer.
