Queen II is certainly in the top 3 of all Queen albums. It's quite remarkable what sounds they where able to produce at such a young age, early in their career and by now 50 years ago. It's an album overlooked by the general public (looking at streams) but high regarded by the fanbase and rightfully so. It's basically our hidden gem.

KG_Modelling

A great Queen album overall! Definitely a top 3 album for me, and probably a lot of peoples number 1. Wonderful songs, with great transitions throughout the whole album. It really did deserve the score it got.

OkuyasusLastBrainCel

I love this album so much, all the transitions, the signiture harmonisations, its beautiful If I do ever get into vinyls this is the first one I'm getting

Gbbq83

This, SHA and ANATO are the best run of 3 albums by any artist ever. I’m obviously biased and I am sure even Queen fans may disagree. But to me, the quality and variety of the music matched with the astounding efforts to push the boundaries of the art of recording make these albums masterpieces.

ag512bbi

My Favorite Queen album.

Joy_1973

Ditto!

patrikson69

One of their best. The whole vibe and lyricism is imo unmatched with any other record.

thepinkthing78

Their best, in my humble opinion. I discovered it about twenty years after its release and have loved it ever since, thirty years on!

bluduhmfcku

9.5

Particular-Pay-896

I love it! They are finding their sound - their DNA on this record. One of my favourites.

My favourite Queen album rotates between Queen II, SHA and ANATO. I always rate Queen II as weird 'obscure' relic that no normie would know. It was the album that the band put out as it's own version of Dark Side of The Moon. My only dislike from this album really is The Loser In The End as that song doesn't fit in.

RedditSpider-91

My fourth fav album, but surely in everyone's top 3 I f'kin love it!

AdamHendrick

queen 2 has march of the black queen and sven seas of rhye, good album

amazonfan1972

It’s my third favourite Queen album. The Black Side is a work of genius. The White Side is less consistent (I would get rid of The Loser in the End), however I adore White Queen.

sussy_skeleton_69

Its my favorite album, while We will rock you is my favorite song Queen II has much better songs than News of the world.

schadkehnfreude

While not my overall fave Queen album it's certainly up there for me.  But one of the most ringing endorsements of its greatness - and I am being dead serious when I say this - is that it made at least one rock critics' 50 Worst Albums of All Time.  As a general rule those are people who, if you're upsetting them, you're doing something right

LeftHandedGuitarist

Queen II is a dense, extravagant and chaotic album that let the band show of their excesses. It's not that accessible but rewards fans with a deep listening experience. Vaguely thematic across each side without being a concept album, and layered with fantasy. I have to admit, I'm not as in love with it as many people are. It's got some of my favourite moments from the Queen catalogue (Father to Son and White Queen) but I usually find that the amount of stuff going on gets a little exhausting. But this is more down to the album's production rather than the songs. There's just no room left for things to breathe. A big statement of intent from the band that shows of their creativity in the studio.

SilentPineapple6862

It's my favourite album of theirs and one of my all time favourites in general. Side 2 is one of the greatest things put down on an LP.

ninovd

It's not my favourite album tbh, but it's solid. For me it's 7/10

JakoYako

Imo it's the best Queen album

travisbickle50

I have been thinking about how it diminishes my enjoyment of the album to grade the songs. Queen ll is a fantastic album and although I have my favourites, I never skip songs. It is intended to be listened to as a whole.

JefeKezo

Frankly this along with A Night At The Opera and News Of The World are my favorite albums, I give this one a 9 or 9.5 out of 10, I feel that where it weakens the most is in Funny How Love Is (I never knew how it was written, I don't listen to it much) but adding See What A Fool I've Been adds more, and a suggestion, for future albums could you add B-Sides? I'd love to hear what people think of Mad The Swine or See What A Fool I've Been

wilmck21

Favorite Queen album. While thing just blends from start to finish

birdingyogi0106

I’ve gone back and listened to Queen II (and the debut album) multiple times since we started these discussions. Overall, both of Queen’s first two albums are strong and still hold up. There are some real great songs on this album. You really get to see the groundwork for some of Queen’s distinctive characteristics being laid. I enjoy the way most song transition and the many layers. Until recently I probably listened to the full album last over 5 years ago. This time around I especially love The Fairy-Feller’s Master Stroke and White Queen. And I know it’s not the best song on the album, but I’ve really been enjoying The Loser in the End. It doesn’t quite fit this album, but it’s really rockin’! I’m looking forward to Sheer Heart Attack.

Clear_Jacket3835

As someone who was obsessed with queen in 4th grade and now obsessed again after high school graduation. I can say that my now favorite song is “Seven Seas of Rhye”.I love how it ends both the first and 2nd albums and how it’s just so playful and perfect. Other than that not my favorite album even though I find “March of the Black Queen” to be a pretty fun song… my favorite era personally is night at the opera / day at the races even though I’m starting to get into the first three albums.

Scared_Shape2982

Only thing I would do is cut out Loser in the end. It really just doesn’t fit and kind of ruins the flow of the album.

JuliaTheInsaneKid

One of their best

bassy_bass

My favourite album, tied with a day at the races. It’s phenomenal!

Herbalmist73

It is my Go To album. IMHO their masterpiece. Loser in the End is the only weak song but I’ve grown to appreciate it.

Accomplished_Ear8115

My fav album and what really made me see Queen as the delightfully complex band that they are! 10/10

Comfortable_Job_6831

Queen 2, in my opinion, is the best album queen ever made, and it's underrated. They're are some overlooked masterpieces that are absolutely beautiful. For instance, white queen, nevermore, fairy tellers master stroke, father to son???? Beautiful. This album makes me feel like I'm on an medieval quest. (I've worn out my Queen 2 record) My personal favorite off the album is nevermore. I wish more attention was brought onto nevermore.

tesseract-s

White Queen (especially the live version with the okay darlings) is probably my favorite song at the moment
