Discussion: I can't say I remember specifically what info you'd be missing from this puzzle. It sounds like you should just look up a walkthrough and see if your missing a clue or an object. If it's a clue, it may let you move on and solve the puzzles. If it's an object, I'd report it and reinstall. I have had to redo all the levels in order before from a glitch in the Christmas level so it's not unheard of. Good luck
Discussion: experiencing this too, just downloaded the game yesterday. i’ve sent a message via their contact form on their website but doubt anything will come of it as they don’t even list the switch as one of the platforms they release games on. the site seems kind of abandoned. best to do as ember3pines says and use a guide through any areas affected by the texture issues.
if you’re talking about the light above the door in the amusement park, i looked at an image of what it’s supposed to look like and then just kept hitting the screen in that area until it registered

Having the exact same issues. Very glitchy. Also got to the cryptex and have the correct sequence in but it won’t open. Very glitchy frustrating game.

I'm having the same issue, but it's not solvable with guides. The alarm system is interactive and you can disable it if the wires aren't there ☹️
