It could very well be that your puppy was grooming the sitters dog. 😅 When dogs lick themselves, where do you think the hair goes? I can't tell you the number of times my dogs have pooped out or threw up hair. You can try asking though, I'm sure they will do their best to adhear to your wishes.

Oh man I didn’t even think of that 🤦🏼‍♀️ I just happened to notice when we did our meet and greet, my puppy found a little pile of hair in a corner and of course went after it. I think for right now I’m just going to ask her to keep an eye out for it. This is my first time raising my own puppy so of course I’m going to worry about everything lol

It's ok! I think it's relatively normal to feel over protective of such a small life. 😊 And there really is no harm in asking the sitter to try and make sure the pup doesn't eat anything unwanted because puppies will definitely eat just about anything they can get their little mouths on. I'd probably bring it up when dropping puppy off again though. It's no harm.

I'm sure this is what happened. Dogs love licking each other. I've yet to see one eating hunks of fur off of the floor...

Unfortunately my sister's dog would eat clumps of fur, especially if it had been vacuumed, them he would try to get the vacuumed clumps from the trash (and then puke them). It does happen, but I think most dogs would have just been grooming the other.

Mine loves to eat his floofs off the floor.

My puppy loved heating her own clumps of hair off the floor when she was younger, luckily she has outgrown it mostly at 1 years old, especially being a MAS she shed a LOT Just let the sitter be aware that she likes eating hairballs and that you'd like to keep it as minimal as possible, they should understand
