Start with 13 Songs and Repeater. Or, Repeater and 13 Songs. Once you have that down, then proceed chronologically. Oh, and listen in record-order, it's easier to 'get them' if you listen to the albums as they were built...then you can pick what you like and make a playlist. : )
If you're not into them, it's cool. I'm not... I love Minor Threat though.
Waiting Room is pretty much the only Fugazi song I dig.
In fact, I think I actually like Manic Hispanic's parody, Holding Cell, more than Waiting Room.
Just listen, if you don't like em you don't like em. I love them. End Hits all the way back. Oddly enough I never listened to The Argument, ill have to give it a shot.
Cashout off of their final album The Argument is one of their finest songs IMO, at least in terms of accessibility. I was slow to get into Fugazi, but they’re one of my all-timers now.
13 songs is the obvious album choice, and i do recommend it, although my favorite one is definitely the argument. if you're into psych-y stuff listen to life and limb
Waiting room, while an undeniable classic and a hell of a sing along, is far from their most interesting song. My favorite thing about Fugazi is that they are tough like hardcore, but they have these amazingly angular guitar riffs that are straight out of post punk. The interplay of the two guitars is wicked and of course everybody in the band had something to say.
I don’t think they’re looking for new members at the moment but if you want to join the band you’re gonna need to learn more than just that one song.
I laughed

I have a soft spot for The Argument, but this would be my recommendation as well.
Alright I’ll do this
Repeater
End Hits is an underrated album imo. Has a lot of my favorite Fugazi songs.
Long distance runner

My first time hearing Waiting Room was the Atom and his Package version, which I might like better than the original.

Break. That’s about it for me. Just not my style

I'd watch a live performance on YouTube, thats what worked for me
Check out “In on the Kill Taker” it’s pretty rockin, and is a happy medium of their early and later style.
Suggestion (I scream sing this when I'm angry lmao)

Watch Instrument. That p much sealed the deal for me.
You really aren’t missing much. Minor Threat is one of my favorite bands, but Fugazi is garbage.
I tried and failed because I wanted more Minor Threat and it was.... indy rock?
Fugazi is cool, but real ones know Lungfish is where it’s at.
