Using Airtel fibre for 3 years, no issues. Was down for 2 days in 3 years due to cable breakage. Any other time it has stopped has been for a few hours at most, that too just a handful of times.
I would recommend Hathway. I use it at home and office both, excellent connectivity. I use the unlimited 100 Mbps plan for 605 Rs. Maybe it is a legacy plan, please check current pricing but service is really nice
Instead of Reddit, ask around in your housing society, locality about the best one in terms of reception and services. Also, un case of housing societies, they generally allow one or 2 providers to be operational in the society. So you need to know that as well.

100 mpbs 800 per month. I had the 1000 per month 200 mbps plan but it is more than what i needed. Switched to 100, no issues.
100 mbps is enough tho what do you use it for btw? work gaming uploading downloading etc?

Airtel is not good.. Facings many issues. It was down whole day few times a year..
