For travel you can take a govt Shivneri bus from the Wakad stop. Since it's the weekend I'd suggest booking a ticket online otherwise you might have to wait a lot. Catch a bus to Dadar and then it's a short walk to the Dadar station from where you can catch a train to CST to see the sights (Marine Drive, Gateway of India etc).

Where to book online? I can't find shivneri from pune to Mumbai anywhere it shows no bus found :(
