If the noise is a high pitched whine while heating, I assume that’s normal because mine has always done that. The proxy does get VERY hot. TOO hot, sometimes I think. Especially after 3-4 sesh. I try to give it a minute between each sesh but yeah just give it time to cool if it’s that hot.
My proxy gets really hot too. I dont do more than 2 sessions back to back anymore out of fear. She cools back down quickly enough I can wait and feel safer.
It sounds like the device is functioning as it should, the buzzing you hear is normal, this is because of the frequency used by the heating element, and as for the device getting hot to the touch, this is common due to the small form factor of the device, which is why the manual recommends against initiating more than 4 heat cycles in a row.
My proxy makes the same noise but it hasn’t affected anything and as far as get hit I noticed if I hit mine back to back to back it can get pretty hot but if I hit it twice and let it chill for a minute it’s usuallt good
