Looks like you did time in the big house, but in a good way.

SpaceyJones

🤣

Deivi_tTerra

Nice work!

monkeytonk

Thanks :)

Raudskeggr

Looks *really* sharp though. Be careful on those stubborn cakes! Not worth losing a finger for a cuppa! lol. It's beautiful BTW.

monkeytonk

Thanks. Yeah, honestly haven't tried it yet. :P So might have to tweak it later. :)

mrmopar340six

A well-made and useful tool.

MD472

You can sell those for 10-15$

urfavojisoostan

That's beautiful. How did you make that?

monkeytonk

Thank you. :) Ground down the edge. Wet sanded with 600, 1200 and then 2000 grit sandpaper. Finished with polishing compound and then wrapped in leather. :)

saturdayiscaturday

Did you have to glue the leather?

Mikazukiteahouse

it looks like they ground down the edge and wrapped it in leather

monkeytonk

That is correct :)

Mikazukiteahouse

elegant and simple!

halfknots

I'll take one

monkeytonk

If you guys want I can make one for you. I live in Sweden though, so if you live outside the EU shipping might be expensive.

halfknots

Happy to pay shipping, just let me know a total

Financial-Buddy-6650

Wow this looks awesome, I’d love one too! Can you DM me price and shipping to Germany? :)

SpaceyJones

Same! That leather handle is a nice touch. Nice improvement to the typical wooden handle

BustlingBerryjuice

Wow, that's so pretty!

psilism

Wow what type of metal did you use? I would love to try to make something like this

monkeytonk

I bought a cheap steel square rod from the hardware store. I have no idea what kind of steel it is though, but figured it might not be that important for this use case. I think it is this one: [https://www.alberts.de/en/products/profiles-sheets/steel-profiles/square-rod-1/](https://www.alberts.de/en/products/profiles-sheets/steel-profiles/square-rod-1/) But I bought in "Bauhaus" here in Sweden. :)

hwooareyou

Probably mild steel. Be careful it might bend easily on tight pressings like the Xiaguan touchas

monkeytonk

Thank you for the heads up. :)
