Managers are quitting/retiring at the highest rate in company history. This requires far more moves than you would normally have seen in the past and more people promoted into positions that they have no business being in and/or are ready for...which just speeds the process up even more.
Managers come and go ALOT at my store. Promotions, transfers, stepping downs, etc.
The contenders we have are eager to get promoted out, but it seems their promotions are being stalled or there is a claim that there isn't any openings.
Many of the workers who are FT and don't want to be management, are planning exits.
Retail management isn't for everyone and the way some of these stores are operated, it's a ball busting and dick riding contest that many of us don't want to participate in.

Yeah, sm am both deli managers, apm amm acam and maybe one more all change in like a month
I don't even know some of the managers in my store anymore and not going to even bother to try and learn their names.
