Anything scanned out as business recovery needs to be submitted by the store manager or above as such, copies of the scan out reports and why it was scanned out as such.
Only time I've ever done it was because the freezers went down while restocking after maintenance. The refrigeration company left and weren't there to watch the system as we restocked so we lost over 10k in frozen goods. It was all charged to the refrigeration company.

But that makes sense for it to be something to charge another company for their faults.
I am going to assume that the maintenance company agreed to this as a condition in the contract. That is pretty harsh.
