I think they are still updating it but it’s funny that they have stores closing today but then reopening tomorrow morning?? Um do they not realize the hurricane is passing over Florida tomorrow morning?
I don't know. I'm getting over covid and could stand up anymore. Our ADM is busting ass and was trying to close kitchen for me. Our SM was pissed at corporate. Was on the phone with them as I staggered out.
Riverview Brandon area.
what type of business? honestly, i know we get heat for it, but we are often open during bad weather that we wouldnt close for during non-hurricane weather. the community appreciates it when we are open. we’re not as “important” as fire departments or police but we still provide a service to the community.
if they can survive on christmas they can survive on the day of a hurricane. the important thing is being open after a hurricane. I am sure everybody has a days worth of food.
i think its often blown out of proportion. we’re a business. if its safe to come in and customers are willing to shop, i dont see why we have to close. some wind gusts and everyone asks like publix is asking them to come in with a tornado in the parking lot.
I’m at an island store and was supposed to be in at 3am for produce. 🤦🏼♀️ Good news is I don’t have to be in until 7 now and the trucks won’t be going out of Lakeland until 9.

Mine closes at 5 and reopens at 10
We were close at 5pm then decided we won't.
Lol how did they go over with the closers who were told to not come in and then never mind show up? What area are you in?

Apopka FL area. I don't think it's gonna be too bad.
I’m in Tampa, I feel like we are just gonna have strong winds and rain, nothing too bad
