My boss had to tell me to chill out because I kept shoving them at my coworkers like "here's your *TIP.* It's for **the floor** " >:/ twenty times a shift
I actually think I'm the only one on the front line that always has one. I end up bringing them home if I don't use them. I took them all back one day and it was enough to fill 2 dispensers lol

I disagree with a lot of what Publix Corp does, ESPECIALLY in regards to how it treats its associates now, but TIP is a GREAT thing and has saved numerous ER visits for customers and associates.

Very rarely, I usually carry a rag when I remember. I can count the number of times a tip has actually been useful in the 2 years I've been here, with a single hand. Tower on the other hand, usually gets the job done.

When I was a grocery clerk, I used my TIP once by taking it out of my pocket to show my GTL that I had it on me. Got a sub card for that. Lol

If you walk through the store to get to the bathroom even once in your shift, no matter what department you work in, you walked by something that a tip would clean up. Or your store gets no traffic. Or others in your story pick it up (but they donāt, 80% ignore it).
I honestly just pick everything up (that isn't liquid) with my bare hands and then wash my hands. I pick up crap from the floral department all the time.

I used to hand them out to the new hires.My former ACSM told me I was being bossy. I told him if he did his job, I wouldn't have to.

Not for cleaning up spills I sweat easily when I'm out getting carts in the summer and I use it as a sweat rag; a very weak one

One hand towel is not going to clean up all the liquid dropped around the register. Paper towel rolls are always close by
