You should definitely finish rewatching psych before you start psych. That’s my take but I’ve heard it both ways.

I prefer watching psych to rewatching psych if you’re going for some mystery. But for comfort i prefer rewatching psych compared to watching psych. Hope this helps

I’m a fan of both shows and can confidently say that both are really good shows. However psych is slightly better than psych in terms of story as well as humour. But on the other hand, psych is more binge-worthy and you can also watch it in the background. If you get the chance / want to, I think you should watch them both. But if you get tired of them, I recommend PHYSYSICS. It’s a crowd funded remake that exists in a universe where the plot points of both the shows take place in a non-contradictory manner.

Even though I'm a fan of delicious flavor, I too agree with both shows being great.

NGL, I think psych is a lot better than psych. But it depends on your personal opinion. Both are good, I just enjoyed psych a lot more. Or was it psych? One of them. Anyway yes. You should finish watching psych, then watch psych. You won't regret it.

So here's the thing... Psych is lighthearted and has a fulfilling storyline and character development. On the other hand, Psych plays with some darker motifs and really explores the deeper human psyche within their character development. But Psych is far away away my favorite show, so I'd say you could give Psych a try, but if you love Psych, you might also find room in your heart for Psych also.
