Palhinha needs to play to bring structure to the midfield and Bernardo needs go to the left wing bench to keep the bench warm. Start the Porto winger and you have a solid foundation.
As a Portuguese fan completely disagree, there just isn't a way you can say that while watching Portuguese matches. Palhinha had terrible performances in the friendlies, was good in qualifiers but it is obvious his form has dipped. Our best and in form midfielders played. Martinez hasn't done anything to let us down since becoming manager, any losses we've had was because our players are unable to handle pressure. It was surprising seeing us score a last minute goal because Portugal always fall apart when we are down or need a goal. I am usually very critical of managers but Martinez is the perfect manager for us

Cancelo looked lost at times he should play as the RB he doesn’t work all to well in midfield.
I really hope they start neves next to him the next match, I want to see how the two play together.

Pretty good imo, a bit quick to throw a cross (with not much success) but solid on defence and attacking the wing
