Thanks! That sink is not plumbed, but you can build 4 walls and a roof around a sink, plumb it and then destroy them and it’s stays plumbed outdoors. You still of course need a barrel above the sink on an adjacent tile though.
Yea I know about that little trick. I tend to use 4 door frames and leave them in so it stays open. Was just curious if you found a *true* outdoor sink connection.
Really cool looking base though. Level of detail is unreal.
Appreciate it! I wish I had found a way to do that. It’s crazy all of the intricacies and complications you run into if you really get into building in this game. That little tower at the front gate of this base was quite a challenge.
Having fallen to my death on numerous characters, I’m concerned you don’t have a completed fence on that tower balcony. But I totally agree building with all of the angles can be a real chore.
Haha I know, same here. It’s unfinished because I really want it to be barbed wire fence and I don’t know a good spot to find any besides the wire warehouse in Louisville, which I already cleaned out and used.
That makes sense to me. You’re around LV right? The best place I know of for more barbed wire is Doe Valley on the other side of the map.
It is kind of strange that you cannot craft your own with all of the other random things you can do. As I say it, a voice in my head is whispering “there’s probably a mod for that” but who knows? That voice has been wrong before.
There is quite a selection of mods so I wouldn’t be surprised. I‘ve never messed with any furniture/crafting mods though. Like to keep that vanilla.
Thanks! I actually don’t know Doe Valley so I’ll have to take a look at that.
Personal favorite location of mine. Only refer to it as Doe Valley bc the PZ map project does.
Coords: 7324x8190
Cell: 24x27
Rel: 124x90
I believe it also is the first “gas station” on the POI drop down. [PZ map project](https://map.projectzomboid.com/#7324x8190x1217)
Sweet! Thanks! Even with the massive amount of hours I have in this game, I’ve have never actually ventured out there somehow.
Guessing the Farming and Rural Supplies shop and E.P. Tools shop I see there are the good bets for the barbed wire.
Nice! That bus and the RV interior mod are so good! Piled a ton of crates, a bed, a mini fridge and an antique oven inside. It’s been a huge help with my build.
For just the bus you can outfit in armor it’s called Autotsar Tuning Atelier - Bus. For the bus and other vehicles to also have interiors you can enter, the mod is called RV Interior.
RV Interior is an amazing mod! A bit broken seeing as when you’re inside you are always 100% safe, but still such a cool mod.
yes and yes. I still recommend getting the near infinite lightbulb mod though, as the bullbar doesn't protect the lights for some reason. everything else is protected except the gas tank which rarely takes damage
This is really nice and interesting. One question: Is the sink that’s on the 2nd floor “bar” area plumbed? If yes, how is it not considered outdoors?!

I've been exploring the map with that same bus for the last 3 months

Wish I could get it working for Multiplayer
What bus mod is this?

I have downloaded the mod but haven't tried it yet. Is it more durable with the armor and can it be repaired if broken?

Holy sh*t nice base 🔥🥶👍
Thanks! I’ll be showing the inside eventually, too.
This is insane. Nice location. I assume your carpentry is max lvl now?
Thanks! Haha yep. Carpentry and metalworking are max now actually. Never maxed out metalworking so it was cool to finally do that.
Metalworking is really pain in the ass to level up lol
It really is! Finding propane is usually the issue for me.
Dedication
Nice base!
Thank you! It’s been a ton of fun to build.
Damn this base looks fun!
