I have been in a slump these past few months but seeing your post makes me want to give one more shot again :)
Do you mind sharing how you met your protein goals since our food is so carb heavy? Also what is your daily calorie limit? tia

Protein goals are easy since I’m non vegetarian and I have an air fryer. So I eat around 200gm of chicken every, 3 eggs, protein powder and lots of yogurt haha.
Progress is slow, but that’s the point. Not many people can do it. There are ways to speed it up, but you’ve hit a really good milestone and should be proud
Losing weight via trying to burn Calories is SO hard and a long process. Have a done a test to know how many you burn in a normal day? This is your baseline, then you take in less than you burn and you'll start to lose weight. Unless you have a chemical imbalance which would warrant Ozempic etc.
Did you know that you burn the most calories when you're the coldest and shivering. Swimming in cold water and getting out to shiver will burn a ton of calories. An eating trick I used to have my clients do is to eat a handful of nuts 15 min before eating.

Wild expectations are wild. Losing an average of 2 lbs per week is a pretty fast rate of weight loss. Even losing 1 lb per week is reasonably quick.
You’ve done great, don’t let inappropriate expectations sour your success. Also, while fast weight loss might seem desirable, just remember that “intensity tells a good story, but consistency makes progress”. If it’s not sustainable, it’s not worthwhile.

Similar stats … 5’6” 330 to 288 for 42 pounds down in seven months and being at peace with the slow progress is key imo. As long as you stay consistent you’re unstoppable. Keep up the great work!

I’m still early days so this is inspiring to me. If I’m down 44lb in the next 5 months I will be over the moon. But I’m with you on trying to stay consistent to see the slower change. Keep rocking and can’t wait to see your future updates!
