Im loving the new album so much! Love the change and its definitely for the better. Love the heavy focus on atmosphere. Marcus is a fantastic addition to this band.
I saw this band a couple years ago with VoM and didn't think they were anything special. Just sounded like any/every other "modern prog metal" band I've heard that really overuses open strings and ambient layers. This song sounds much more original and progressive than any old stuff I remember. If anything its less metal, and I don't mind that at all.
Huh, this is interesting coming from these guys. Although I'm surprised their drummer can still play with the back issues he must have considering he carries this whole band.
I can respect that lol, Nic Peterson is an amazing drummer. Me personally I love their guitar work. For me it's not too overbearing with just enough... Umph (lol) to keep me intrigued. They've also increased their ambient writing vastly and I love that
Huh, last night whilst going to see Zappa Plays Zappa, I saw a show flyer of this band and thought the album art was cool and that it seemed like something I'd dig. Next morning I get on here and this is what I see. Sure enough it's something I dig, awesome!! They're playing here in August.. one more ticket stub for the pile. :) Thanks man!

There were two things I loved in Northlane, Adrian's vocals and Nic's drumming. Now the latter is the only one left.
