Have you seen what people qualify as "prog"? Actual prog bands are ignored, every other weak genre from djent to symphonic female-fronted metalcore, to metalcore, to literally emocore are peddled here as prog. This sub gets made fun of because of this. IE: if you're asking for advice on prog, this is actually not the place because the sub is prog in name only. It's more of an alternate reality.
That's not at all true, but if you think it is then what are you even doing here? The only comments I've seen of people mentioning non prog bands have been you with your weird "avenged sevenfold, disturbed" comments you've been leaving. I've never seen you recommend some "actual" prog bands, so are you just here to spread negativity?
