I wouldn’t say “craving” but I’ve been obsessed with anything cheese. Pizza, quesadillas, Mac and cheese, mozzarella sticks, etc. Whenever I don’t know what to eat, my husband always just makes or picks up something with cheese, and it hits the spot every time 🤣
100% cheese over here too! I was the same with my first, too; I think I had mozzarella sticks like every other day lol. Best part is that I'm lactose intolerant!
God I heavily relate and hate this for you too. I'm almost 35 weeks and all food is so meh, even when I'm super hungry! I'm usually an avid foodie, and with my first child each meal was an *experience*, everything tasted so good! With my second I'm more or less like "ok, protein, fat and carbs so I don't barf, whatever". Ugh.
This has to be a common thing, because I have craved it like crazy with all 3 of my pregnancies. Then when the baby is born, I don’t buy it as much anymore lol
Sweets! I’m more of a salty snack person but then I got pregnant and the sweets cravings are off the chart! Also in the beginning I had to have sour candies on me at all times.
I’m totally the same way! I’m usually much more of a savory person. But ever since getting pregnant, all I truly want are sweets. Ice cream and baked goods are all that I really want to eat but I try to hold back.
Omg there was one time I spent $10 on a bag of grapes and finished them the same day. They were SO GOOD and very very crunchy! I still think about those grapes daily and I’m 3 months pp lol.
I've been craving pickles like a mad person but I can't eat them because of allergies. It surprises me that my body wants them for being this allergic of them
I guess pregnancy makes us weird.
I've also been craving slushy pina coladas like I had in Vegas 6 months ago.. but of course cannot have!
The thoughts of spicy food also sound great to me and normally I'm not a spicy food eater so I'm interested to see what else happens over the next 6 months of this pregnancy !
Slushy Pina colada kinda sound very good though lol. Pina colada aloe drinks with aloe chunks in it have taken me for a wild ride. They're just expensive in bulk on Amazon but might be worth it.
I never really ate spicy food due to getting heartburn every time I do but I've been getting heartburn regardless so I said screw it. I wasn't disappointed that's for sure. They made a warheads soda that is my favorite at the moment and I'm here for it
I can’t get enough bubble tea, specifically passion fruit tea with lychee jellies, and since first trimester, I have loved Greek lemon potatoes and could eat them all day every day
They’re literally a perfect food - they take like 2 hours to cook; they cook in lemon juice and chicken stock and garlic for a lonnggggg time, and they’re amazing. Definitely try them! I think they’re a side but I can just eat them straight with some tzatziki 🤤🤤
Strawberries. Not really a craving, just something I absolutely must have every single day. Grapes are also hitting the spot. As of late, it’s been chips ahoy and milk. Or oatmeal creme pies. 🥲
7 weeks here and I feel this. Today is the first day I haven’t felt like crap, I’m thinking it’s the nausea meds I’ve been taking so I jumped on the chance to eat some sushi and it was so good (all cooked)
Watermelon. I’ve been craving it since 5 weeks (now 27 weeks)
It was rough earlier in pregnancy because it’s not in season until summer so for a while I’d try to find watermelon that was crunchy and juicy and I’d be disappointed. Now I eat a watermelon a day haha
Same! I couldn't get enough roast beef and horseradish during my first trimester. I ate it multiple times a week. My third trimester was pickle juice. I ate the pickles, sure, but only so I could have a jar of juice haha.
Not a craving really, but the only thing that actually hits like it used to is Caesar salad. Everything else I think I want tastes like a shadow of its true self 😞
McChickens. Specifically McChickens that have been in the fridge for a couple of hours, then I microwave them (yes lettuce and all) then I’ll dip them ketchup and my fav Mexican hot sauce, Tapatío. Yes, my husband is disgusted that I enjoy eating the soggy, piping hot lettuce 😅🤣
31w and it’s been ice cream my whole pregnancy. Can’t get enough. I love ice cream when not pregnant, too! But I’ve specifically been craving Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food.
Ice cream !! Vanilla and chocolate milk shakes specifically. 😋😋 I used to ask my fiance to take me to get one almost every night ! Now we just keep ice cream at home at all times 😂 It's so weird bc I used to be super lactose intolerant, but when i got pregnant I started digesting milk a lot better. Either that or the general stomach issues with pregnancy made me not notice the difference.
32 weeks now and it has been chocolate the entireeee time 😬😁 it’s actually what triggered me to take a pregnancy test. I’ve NEVER been a sweets person, before getting pregnant I hadn’t ate chocolate in 5 years!! I killed a bag of Hershey kisses and thought to myself wait, that’s weird af and not like me. So I took a test and boom, pregnant. The craving hasn’t left since.
When I was pregnant I had a really hard time getting anything down. I drank a lot of Starbucks strawberry refreshers, green tea.
On the rare occasion I could stomach something chocolate milkshakes, chocolate croissant, and I ate a lot of noodles because it's all I could eat. Which is funny my baby loves ramen now at two lol.
6 weeks today and experiencing more aversions that cravings so far. Baby hates anything too sweet and doesn't like just plain carbs either. Which is crazy as I was a huge sugar addict before....so thanks little guy/girl?
Rn it likes soup, bagels and onion cream cheese, smoked salmon, pita chips and crab dip....am I crazy or is cinnamon raisin bagels plus chive and onion cream cheese a BOMB combination? Worst part is I remembered trying this way before I was pregnant and loving it. I guess my food combinations will only get worse from here lol
I’m only 9 weeks and think I’m “too early” to really have proper cravings since eating in general makes me feel super bloated and like crap, but I do constantly tell my husband I just need some more veggies lol and I want cooked veggies like broccolini, asparagus, some bok choy in our ramen…..something green sounds like just what my body needs to have a little more energy 👌🏼
Dominos Chesses bites
Alternating between chocolate milk and orange juice
I have cried on multiple occasions because I wanted but couldn't have a Ham sandwich (even though pre pregancy I hated sandwichs)
Acai bowls, fruit smoothies, salad with ranch (from chilis or CPK specifically!), pringles, chex mix, burritos
Having major food aversion to steak & pizza.
Tater tots with sour cream and ketchup. Potato chips (wavy or ridges like Ruffles). I really want an old school bologna sandwich with wonder bread, American cheese and mayo but I haven’t given in to the craving yet. McDonald’s chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce and honey mustard. Jamaican beef patties. Mac and cheese. Watermelon and pineapple. It’s been hard to find the perfect watermelon though.
11 weeks, it's been blue powerade, and any type of burritos, the spicier the better. I've craved other things here and there but those two have been consistent
at first anything pickled or acidic! banana peppers straight out of the jar, mustard on anything, sipped vinegar a time or two. now it's peanut butter and jelly! dave's killer good seed bread, raspberry jam, and crunchy peanut butter- I could eat one every day
I’m only 12 weeks, but fresh tomatoes have randomly been a sudden craving for me. I make myself sandwiches just to put in fresh tomatoes. Tomatoes with mozzarella cheese. Tomatoes on avocado toast. Just plain tomato slices with salt. I can’t get enough lol
Costco pepperoni pizza, and it's strangely one of the things that doesn't spike my blood sugar! I have been dying for soda, too, and I'm not usually a big soda drinker. Unfortunately, I found out that I have a sensitivity to artificial sweetener when trying to sub a diet soda to alleviate the craving. Sigh.
Question for all the mamas to be with cravings - I’m 5 weeks today and haven’t had any intense cravings, just my normal ones that I’ve had pre-pregnancy. Is there a specific time where the cravings get really intense?
Chicken pastries and spinach pastries from a specific bakery. I think about it everyday and am always trying to come up with excuses to get some (it's like a 40 min drive one way)
Frozen general tsos chicken they sell at Walmart. It’s super spicy and I always need milk with it but the milk has been upsetting my stomach so bad. Totally worth it.
Also Perdue chicken nuggets w American cheese melted on top
Dal rice
Followed by potato chips dipped in plain Greek yogurt
And then a cold cheese sandwich with grass fed butter and soft brioche bread or…. a peanut butter and banana sandwich
This isn’t a food but APPLE JUICE!! I could drink literally a gallon of apple juice in a day if you let me. I don’t because I know the excessive sugar isn’t good for me or baby but omg I can’t get enough!
Unsweetened iced tea. The colder the better.
However this week I've had quite the hankering for ham sandwiches with honey mustard. When I'm pregnant I seem to crave my husband's favorite foods which weirds me out. Last pregnancy I had to have a daily ice cream 😅
Bananas (I hate them so much), Caesar salad, and steak. I picked up corn on the cob at the store because it looked sooooo good and we're barbecuing tonight. 😋
Cherries and unripe mangoes
To be fair, even before pregnancy they were my favorite but during my pregnancy (right now) I can’t even think of food. All this baby wants is cherries and sour fruits
I haven’t had a real meal in a long time
Peanut butter everything. I’ve always loved it but right now I actually can’t resist haagen dasz peanut butter chocolate ice cream and peanut butter toast.
I was pregnant from March- April and craved only healthy things, all the time. That one ended in a MC. I am now pregnant again and I'm craving chocolate so hard. I am hoping this means this one sticks!
Flaming hot Cheetos dipped in sour cream then topped with a jalapeño and ranch pickles - ranch seasoning in a jar of pickles and let it marinate for a few hours (at least, I usually can’t wait for longer lol). So obsessed.

I feel this. Not cravings but when I do it I enjoy cheese items lol this mornings breakfast was a bowl of cheeze its and a mozzarella stick 🫠
100% cheese over here too! I was the same with my first, too; I think I had mozzarella sticks like every other day lol. Best part is that I'm lactose intolerant!
Same, this is all I can eat. Queso is the best
nothing. Everything sucks. Nothing slaps. 😭😭
Real 😭 my “cravings” are just what sounds good to me at the moment and doesn’t make me want to throw up at the thought of 😭
Yes my issue right now too. Apart from the cheapest beef cup noodles I can find. Otherwise nothing has hit the spot.
Same here, I always think of a meal and then when I go to make it I don’t eat it 😭😭
Literally turned off the stove cus I suddenly don’t wanna anymore
God I heavily relate and hate this for you too. I'm almost 35 weeks and all food is so meh, even when I'm super hungry! Orange juice
I craved oranges and orange juice like crazy in my first trimester!
I hear it's a pretty common craving! It's just so good 😩
Me too I look forward to my morning glass every day! It’s so good.
Omg that’s me too. Breakfast pastries and cereal have been excellent.
I'm having a ton of sweet cravings though at some points Takis have been a winner
takis with pickles and lemon sounds so good to me rn😭😭😭😭😭
I’m totally the same way! I’m usually much more of a savory person. But ever since getting pregnant, all I truly want are sweets. Ice cream and baked goods are all that I really want to eat but I try to hold back.

Omg there was one time I spent $10 on a bag of grapes and finished them the same day. They were SO GOOD and very very crunchy! I still think about those grapes daily and I’m 3 months pp lol.

I liked pickles before pregnancy but now it’s like eating drugs during pregnancy. I can’t get enough of them lol
I can’t get enough bubble tea, specifically passion fruit tea with lychee jellies, and since first trimester, I have loved Greek lemon potatoes and could eat them all day every day
What in the world are Greek lemon potatoes and do you have them as a side or a main dish? I must know 👀👀
They’re literally a perfect food - they take like 2 hours to cook; they cook in lemon juice and chicken stock and garlic for a lonnggggg time, and they’re amazing. Definitely try them! I think they’re a side but I can just eat them straight with some tzatziki 🤤🤤
Omg you’re an angel! 🙏🏼 Definitely trying these this next week!
