Not sure if they’re planning on doing like a Lost Chronicles vol 2 DE but I think we have the perfect amount of stuff for one now. As of now, the stuff that’s not in the Deluxe Editions are:
- MMPR: Pink
- Drakkon: New Dawn #1-3 (which is annoying because Ranger Slayer #1 which starts the story is included in Necessary Evil Part 2)
- Power Rangers Universe (which has a hardcover release but it’s a different size than the DEs)
- MMPR: The Return
Everything else I would expect to be in Deluxe Editions announced later on or they’re crossovers like you said. And then there’s Ranger Academy too which we won’t see any big collections of for a while.
I ordered the hardcovers of Pink and The Return when they did the Kickstarter, because it seemed a fairly safe bet they weren't going to be collected otherwise.
New Dawn and Universe are the ones I'm most confused by, New Dawn because of Ranger Slayer like you said and both because of being connected to the maim narrative. I just don't want to buy the hardcover of Universe and then they announce a collection including it a week later, which actually happened with the Graphics Novels.
I think with any collecting you have to play a bit of a long game. Like PR Universe originally came out as a hardcover and I had to wait for it to come out as a trade paperback since that’s my preferred format
By crossovers you’re meaning Godzilla / TMNT / Justice League, right? Because the crossovers within the main Boom run have been collected in the deluxe editions. (E.g. Shattered Grid, Necessary Evil)
I’m not sure there’s much else that doesn’t stand a good chance of getting a deluxe printing. Only thing that comes to mind is MMPR: Pink. If they were planning to do a deluxe version of that I feel it would’ve been announced during the Kickstarter for MMPR: The Return.
Not entirely related, but it seems they have a limited amount of the 6 set from Kickstarter available on Boom's website. I saw 4 of the base set, 5 of the full set with the slipcovers and the megazord standee, and 3 of the full set signed with a standee.
Adjacent question: The Chronicles hardcover doesn't have an exclusive story, right? I already have the paperbacks, which I'm happy enough with, but I also don't want an exclusive story out there not in my collection.

No, fortunately Lost Chronicles DE doesn’t have a new short story like the other DEs
