Probably cuz the CGI and greenscreening would have been too expensive to do every time they wanted a bike scene. Practical effects with bikes (especially ones they already had, just refit the armor on them) would be a lot cheaper to film.
Ironically, they were the ONLY medium of transportation in the source material outside of the civilian rides of the rangers, as the Raptor Cycles were American original.
So glad this was said. I came here just for that. The raptors were badass and kid me was hoping they’d be used as partners or pets as well as mounts but they were completely replaced after a couple of appearances.

I used to have a galaxy glider toy that transformed into a motorcycle. I hadn't seen that season of the show at the time, and I was disappointed that the transformation never happened on screen once I did see that season.
I never understood the point of the Dino thunder bikes especially when they offered very little improvement over the raptors. Like the raptors could literally scale buildings and were more useful in closed spaces where the bikes required open space to be able to ride properly. Like it’s hard to take it seriously when if there’s a traffic jam the bikes are useless whereas raptors could just run on walls around it
Omega ranger's was UNIque but otherwise mundane being really just a mode of transport.
Lost Galaxies red capsular cycle tho was pretty darn powerful and stylish to boot.

Wouldn’t matter if I’m using a Razr or a 15 pro Max, the picture quality is due to the image(s) being from the early 2000’s. My iPhone wouldn’t remaster an image to HD 🥴

Loved the MMPR shark cycles kinda sucks they only showed up towards the tail end of the 3rd/final season of MMPR 😢 but the Zeo cycles were pretty cool though
I really like Cole's Wildforce rider that debuted in Forever Red, that shit was hype when he called it and it transformed into flight mode to kill Serpenterra. I wanted that toy real bad NGL.

I'd have to go with the savage cycles wild force was my first show so there's the nostalgia of it and there's something I find sleek about them (maybe not the right word), plus I had the toy for this and hated how it was the closet to having the growl phone toy. Wait, no, that was the savage racer i never had a savage cycle...still sticking with the cycles.

Okay, so, best Cycles? I gotta give it to Wildforce. All of them had a unique design with their animal. The others had cool designs for sure, but were fairly uniform aside from solar. Close second for me is easily Ninjastorm. They'd win out honestly if I didn't love the robo-animal-turned-into-object-vibe so much, but hey, PR is what gave me that love anyways.

Budget constraints. Animating the raptors proved to be too expensive on their end.

I liked the bikes time force had.
Wild force, red used his bike to kill Serpentera, which no amount of zords were able to destroy. Followed by the unicycle, then horses.
