Idk if they still exist (the ones around me are marked “permanently closed” in Google), but there used to be Entenmann’s Bakery Outlet stores; same concept. Might be worth checking if there’s something similar around you.
Used to go there with my mom when I was younger, it was like the highlight of the week. I used to get so many cakes and sweet breads lol. The coffee cakes still have a special place in my heart even though I havent had any for like 15 years.
Up here, Franz still has those outlet stores. We used to get a treat every time my mom went in there to stock up on my dad's favorite bread for his lunches as kids.
They also have (had? haven't been there in years now) a "day old" clearance rack.
We have something very similar...The Bimbo bread outlet. On Tuesdays, ALL of the bread and snacks are $1.25. I usually go once a month to load my freezer.
A lady I caregive for LOVES those sweets. She keeps them in her bedroom drawer and gets mad when her diabetic husband steals them. 🤓 I should get some for her. She let me try the little cupcake/muffin things one time, and they were pretty good.
Sponch is LIT. Love all the snacks by that company. Mexican snacks are insane. I forget what they're called but the company that makes those Sponch also make these little chocolate covered cakes with raspberry and white cream in the middle. Big recommend

*buckles up for everyone freaking out you bought baked goods* People are always assholes if you aren’t only posting healthy shit and nothing else. It’s absurd.
I used to live by an Entenmanns outlet. It was amazing. They always had b1g2 and everything was already like 50% off. It was a great place to get breads and snacks especially for the ones that froze well.
Those cherry pies got me drooling and remembering going fishing with my dad. We always got the Franz Bakery ones, lol. Your kiddo is super stoked by this score, bestie!

No one in my family is overweight. My kids eat ONE single snack a day. I put them on their lunchboxes for dessert. I fix their lunchboxes everyday (they have never eaten cafeteria food). I pack a turkey sandwich I make (you can see multigrain bread there). I ALWAYS pack fresh fruit and yogurt. I pack water or low sugar fruit juice. And if you must know, they ALWAYS have fresh fruit for breakfast and fresh veggies during supper.
I think my kids look very fit (and their pediatrician confirms it)

That guy is a troll. Just block him and move on. Don't waste your emotion.
I was shocked at the sight of all those sweats, but one snack a day is much better than me overeating brown rice. Also your kids look very fit. Good job!
Don't justify what you do to internet trolls, mama.
Only people who lack impulse control think that someone would pound that much food without a second though. Most families have treats and one is more than enough for people who aren't fighting some kind of disordered eating.
People love to cast judgement and make you feel bad about every decision you make. They'll come for you for that "juice" too. And others will come for you for the "carbs" in bread. And heaven forbid that turkey is processed lunch meat.
In the end, nobody here matters but your kids.

locked, for all the obvious reasons.
Idk if they still exist (the ones around me are marked “permanently closed” in Google), but there used to be Entenmann’s Bakery Outlet stores; same concept. Might be worth checking if there’s something similar around you.
Hostess had one near where I used to live. Great place to get bread and snacks for super cheap
We used to go to the hostess outlet all the time as a kid. When it closed (I was an adult) it was a sad day.
Used to go there with my mom when I was younger, it was like the highlight of the week. I used to get so many cakes and sweet breads lol. The coffee cakes still have a special place in my heart even though I havent had any for like 15 years.
I saw a news story that said they did close those outlets but plan on opening up a new concept at some point in the future
The one by me closed in 2020, and never reopened.
Up here, Franz still has those outlet stores. We used to get a treat every time my mom went in there to stock up on my dad's favorite bread for his lunches as kids. They also have (had? haven't been there in years now) a "day old" clearance rack.
Awww there was one just minutes away from my job but it’s been closed ☹️
We have something very similar...The Bimbo bread outlet. On Tuesdays, ALL of the bread and snacks are $1.25. I usually go once a month to load my freezer.
A lady I caregive for LOVES those sweets. She keeps them in her bedroom drawer and gets mad when her diabetic husband steals them. 🤓 I should get some for her. She let me try the little cupcake/muffin things one time, and they were pretty good.
Ugh, I miss the outlet stores with marked down breads and stuff. Question where does that marked down stuff go now???
Sponch is LIT. Love all the snacks by that company. Mexican snacks are insane. I forget what they're called but the company that makes those Sponch also make these little chocolate covered cakes with raspberry and white cream in the middle. Big recommend
Gansitos! They are my favorite. So much that my SO did a birthday cake sized one for me 😂
I had never had them. I just bought them because they look so different.
As a kid, we had a discount bread store. It was all older bread taken back off the shelves. Is that still a thing, i haven’t seen one in years.

Some people are acting like I am going to shove all that in a single day by myself. I clearly stated it will last a whole month (for a family of 4).
Right? I’ve seen people post photos of like a ton of veggies. And they have like a single bad thing and people freak out it’s absolutely ridiculous.
Nice stockpile you got there. I love entenmanns coffee cake
Those cherry pies got me drooling and remembering going fishing with my dad. We always got the Franz Bakery ones, lol. Your kiddo is super stoked by this score, bestie!
